Billy doesn't get enough credit for being the glue for Faith No More. He's a demon on bass but also writes and performs the majority of guitar parts and plans out the musical structure for a lot of these songs, especially on AD. The dude is brilliant and a huge contributer to the general sound of FNM.

Corrections: Patton was 24 in 1992 when this was taped. I know this was posted 4 years ago but even 4 years ago he wasnt in his early 30s he was 40.

It sounded like the part Mike was singing Jim was Malpractice, and the intro/keyboard/bass part, if I had to venture a guess, they're hammering out Jizzlobber, but I'm only about 60% on that one...

some people have been so full of shit for so long that they dont recognize that mike is just being himself, he doesnt control the muscles in his face to not appear to be in a bad mood or annoyed. if just expresses what he feels. thats why he is who he is and not just another dude singing for a band

Mike patton was indeed one of the best lyricist of all, plus he had a vocal range that would allow him to sing almost anything. Really good musician. does anybodyknow he was gay? yup. Billy gould to me is a wizzard on bass, him and patton could form a new fnm by themselves.

Patton did contribute to Angel Dust, but not in writing. I mean, you can tell just from his presence. The other album, that doesn't count, because it's him filling in for a missing person. By this time, Mike was part of the formula.
