Mark King of Level 42 was what got me into playing bass, but I never realized until now how much Billy Gould was also an influence on me. Used to play to FNM's Angel Dust album often back in the day. Nice to see how close I was to the actual bass riffs.

Mr Bungle is cool. But, to those who haven't listened, their styles vary greatly between albums and songs. I think it's more of Mike Patton's baby.
@dambrooks7578
@dambrooks7578 4 жыл бұрын
@@raptorsclaw it is totally Patton's project, he was approached by FNM to be their singer due to his extensive vocal range, his conditional agreement was centred around being free to pursue person projexts like Mr Bungle, Fantômas and several others, all of which were as different and far removed from each othere as they were from Faith No More. I believe Patton is still working and producing music today in one form or another.
@nmnmnm9509

Glen Cornick (Jethro Tull) is an often overlooked bass player as is Dave Peacock (Chas & Dave). Both are bass players from an older, professional and session musician mentality, one that required them to truly know every way around the sounds their instruments could produce while still being interesting and even innovative.
