This was one of the last songs that Jim Martin had a direct influence on when he was with the band, & it's quite obvious. One of my all-time favorites. Also, interesting that the lyric video you chose had snippets from "A Serbian Film" in it. Pretty brave choice by whomever uploaded it.

This one is intense spooky, the other song is humorous, another song is beautiful, another song is so jazzy, another song is punk vibe. They are very diverse in music. They also arguably the father or predecessor of NU-metal. Band like Korn, System of a Down, Slipknot etc are influenced by them. Corey Taylor (frontman for both Slipknot and Stone Sour) told Loudwire in 2015 that if it wasn't for Faith No More, he "wouldn't be here today.

@@giacomojamesPunkRockHeadReact Non li conosco benissimo , nel senso che non li ho mai seguiti dall' inizio alla fine, ma posso dirti che loro il botto lo hanno fatto con "The real thing" che è fenomenale, ed è il loro terzo album, i primi due sono interessanti ma secondo me molto acerbi. poi con "AngelDust" e "King for a day fool for a lifetime" hanno sfornato ottimi album, specialmente "Angel dust". "The album of the year" invece la ritengo una cagata pazzesca e non li ho più seguiti

E tra l' altro ti racconto un aneddoto. Premetto che mi piacciono musicalmente, ma ho sempre "odiato" il cantante Mike Patton, no perchè non mi piacesse la sua voce o il suo cantare, anzi, ma è sempre stato un sbruffone troppo irriverente. A tal proposito mi ricordo che quando li vidi per l'unica volta in quel di Bologna al Monsters of rock del 90 , durante l'esibibizione ad un certo punto tirò un "Porco D..." e (giuro) cinque secondi dopo si scatenò una tempesta di vento e grandine da paura!!!! Fummo tutti portati fuori dall'arena , molti andarono via impauriti, ma io rimasi sotto un tendone perché volevo vedere anche gli Aerosmith......
