Byron is one of the few poets I actually like. Probably because he was a lot like me.

Annabella was homeschooled. Lord Byron went to expensive schools like Horrow and Cambridge but they were damaging to him. Boarding school is the house of evil. Everything can happen when you take a lot of children and put them together without a lot of supervision. No parental control! At home his mother was not a good supervisor either and he was molested by a nurse. I learned he was often taken out of school which affected the discipline for his classical studies. His wife supported the work of George McDonald. She made many charitires throughout her life and she was in the antiabolitionist movement. His grandson and granddaughter by Medora and her legitimate husband joined the clergy and they became a priest and a nun. And one of his grandsons by Ada lived in Iceland and was a very nice person. He enjoyed mountain climbing. Iceland was a proper healthy place to do tourism. Byron went to the worst places on Earth! Venice where Byron resided was almost a brothel. Venice was the birthplace of of Casanova who was similar to Byron but he was even worst. He was highly educated but he was a problem maker. He must have been demonic possessed.

I've studied Byron's life quite intensively, reading biographies and other excerpts; I've come to a new theory. He should have never returned from the East: that's where he was at his happiest, the rest was a kind of yearning for those latter years.

"Are you keen on mathematics by any chance?" "I am content to admire them at an incomprehensible distance. I know that two and two make four, and should be glad to prove it if I could, though I must say... If I could get them to make five it would give me much greater pleasure." "Why ever would you wish to do that?" "I have told you before, Miss Milbanke... Perverted." -Lord Byron (film, 2003) I heard this and it really grasped the way I feel about math. LOL Perfectly.

The music that is playing from 1:30 to 1:50 sounds like a classical arrangement of Bad Guy.

Only if you associate sensitivity with feminity, which most of do, then yes, Lord Byron is sensitive but then intelliegence and sensitivty go hand in hand. Intelligent people are usually relatively androgynous.

What's the name of the lead actor, playing Lord Byron? I think he was also in Mansfield Park.
@Aveilas116 жыл бұрын
Jonny Lee Miller. He also plays Sherlock in Elementary, which is why I wanted to se some of his younger roles. He's brilliant in this one, too.

I wonder why he never thought to tie his bear to a constable and throw both in the river? No constables available back then probably.

Byron’s hair was naturally curly, but he used tissues wrapped in his hair overnight to emphasise them.

The lead actor is not handsome enough. sorry. Byron preferred older more worldly ladies like Lady Melbourne. The aggitated young things bored him.
