I didn't know Maxi no longer was part of Faithless; a huge shock to find out via a hot new release. While iconic, I think there was always two parts to Faithless and while I wish Maxi all the best with his direction, this could be a potential new opportunity for Faithless to flex that addictive vibe that Maxi seemed to be the cherry on top with. I believe that soul could be just as good because the foundation is there and maybe that cherry on top could be filled by someone else.

To me if it has Blissy's synths in it it's definitely Faithless to me, and I've seen hoping for more of that so very much over the years. Faithless is back with such a fresh sound and beat. Any female voice replacing Dido's would not have ever felt right, but this new voice is so different and it sounds just as wonderful. I somehow do not think of it as a replacement of Maxi as his voice is the "core", and I imagine him just joining back. What a pleasant surprise! So glad there is a new album to look forward to. Ah and the video... represents very well where humanity is going to, it's just that it won't be under the happy song...
