In this video, I am sharing with you some complete disaster cleaning motivation. My house is in total mess after my kids' birthday party, and I need to clean it up.
I will show you everything that I do to clean my house, from wiping the counters to vacuuming the floors. You'll see the actual cleaning process, as I tackle each room one by one.
While I clean, I'll share some of my thoughts and musings with you. And by the end of this video, hopefully, you will have all the cleaning motivation you need to take your own mess.

Deep cleaning is something that I do on my own...I feel ya! Telling my kids how to help or what to do during a deep clean session is like them taking a bath and washing themselves with mud😂 It's the maintenance AFTER the deep clean that matters with the kids! Its awesome to watch the boys being so respectful and helping take your lead on picking up. Lists help. Their watching you no matter what even if they try at least they absolutely know it matters to you. They eventually take your lead. I always find i model the way we live and standards will rise together as a team. Yep its a Team! Single parent here FT 2 athlete girls ft Graduate school and reformed hoarder: clothes, toy & free site stuff. We retired that life style. Goooo momma!

Last year I hosted my sisters daughters birthday because my place is bigger. Never again. It took us 3 hours to clean. This year we rented a room at a game arcade and we just threw out cups and plates. The company did the cleaning. You are brave Faith 🥰 Happy birthday boys🎉🎁🎈🎂❤

We have only hosted a themed party a few times for our 5 and 8 year old too! We just did family dinners. Themed parties are expensive, my kids are always wild and a lot of prep! The twins will always remember it🎉❤😊

There is no standard for ways we show our children that they are a very special part of our lives and that we are so grateful for their birth. The memories you and your family are making during their childhood will sometimes be big and fun celebrations, and sometimes they will be small and simple celebrations. Trust your intuition, the insight of those who love and care for you, but mostly trust God to direct you as a mother to raise them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord . Don't worry about the dish drainer- you be you and enjoy the artistry of this unusual piece! I think it a blessing to be able to utilize a practical object which also happens to be beautiful! It lifts my spirits when I use something like this and helps me to feel seen in a creative manner. Related: a household where you are the only adult in residence is an especially sensitive situation. Magnified responsibility and accountability, along with the physical and emotional demands inherent in raising kids is a pressure cooker scenario for anyone, even the most capable people! If having a thing of loveliness brings you joy as you go about the day's business💖💖, so be it! What a wonderful way to inspire and befriend yourself. GREAT COPING! BTW, I noticed the drainer right away and wondered what it was- assumed it was a countertop sculpture... and so it is.....

Woah…just found you yesterday and dang…from tornado to “how’d she do that” so quick…and I know the video is speedy, but you stay right on top of things and get them done. Good job, mom. Becoming a fav to watch because your videos truly start with disaster, sometimes quite worse than mine, which gives me boatloads of motivation! I’m like naw…if she can get that done in a night, whatever, I can tackle what I gotta do, too. Thank you for keeping it real! You’re brave and honest and worthy and a joy to watch and listen to. Anyone who says they’ve never had a messy house, or struggled with staying on top of their household duties, isn’t being honest with us, but hopefully they are at least being honest with themselves. In my experience, they come at others because of something they are hating within themselves, and the way to work on that is not to blast others.

Yesterday we had a really nice 75°day outside so I decided to clean up my yard/basement. I still had my daughters 3ft birthday balloon in the shed😂. I also found & cut down balloon strings and the roap we used to suspended her pinata. This was from her party last Aug 😂 I also tossed a baby pool we used for ice & drinks and a cooler that was holding beer but the lid broke on. Love my cleaned up yard now

I just stumbled on your channel yesterday Faith! Your amazing! I know from experience that you can't co parent alone. I had to be mom, and dad alot and that's not really possible. Very difficult to navigate. Because you can't change them. I pray you are empowered by your own parenting and accomplishments and that you don't look to anyone who doesn't value you for validation. This is what my place looks like when my sisters 3 kids stay over for 1 night! And on Wednesday night the 4 year old peed in the bed 2:12 and vomited over the whole bed and pillows! Im still trying to dry the pillows after washing them! I’ve put them in the tumble dryer for about 6 hours already! Feather pillows are a pain to dry!

Be careful with maintenance coming in and your apartment being in disarray. My boyfriend works for a housing authority. He said “some”, not all maintenance people report apartments that are not clean, to the housing/leasing supervisors. Then they start picking and finding anything to get those people evicted or they just refuse to renew their leases when it’s time to renew.

Oh yes, I’ve seen that scene with Gru at the birthday party. I loved that part, he did what all of us would do to see our kids smile. I have never rented a mascot, but my daughter was super scared of the Chuck E. Cheese mouse at her 3rd party. My twins always love that stuff though (other people’s parties lol).

It's my pet peve when people show up early for a birthday party unless they helped set up. I host tons of parties and I am always the last one getting ready & jump in the shower last minute. When we get invited out. I always go 30 -60 minutes later to house parties. I don't mind being first one there but I won't be coming early... i like to give other moms that extra time to get ready... if the party is in an establishment we go on time because they always give you a party helper or predecocotate your room before the party starts & those only book like 2 hr windows so you don't want to miss the fun

I just did one of these cleans because I’m going to have my baby shower here in 2 months. It triggers me when my 14 and 10 year olds do not clean up behind themselves though. This is my motivation to get up and wipe things down again.

Pro Tip. Don’t let them have all the toys at once. Let them have a few toys at a time. Keep them on rotation so they don’t scatter all of them everywhere.

Your kids are getting so big. My twins were born on dec 2020 and I remember watching your video a few years ago when they were babies. But my kids don’t help me clean either they have their moments when they want to help lol
