Thank you for this. We don't usually think of fish for our meals, but with this recipe I'm going to give it a try.

I just did Shrimp Corn Chowder. It worked awesome! I included a sandwich bag of some cubed bisciut "croutons" to mix in after I rehydrate the chowder.

Perfect time of year for it! We used the sweetest, fresh corn ever and cut it off the cob.

John, I don’t have Facebook so I didn’t know how to go about sending you a link. I thought this French Onion Beef & Noodles would make a great Pouch a Noodles with your FD onions as a topper:)

Bravo!!! John something different. We do need to eat more fish! Do you think salad shrimp would work with this..?.they are on sale.

Not sure does it have mayo? If so you may want to try my mayo alternative recipe.

I mean little salad shrimp instead of the larger shrimp.

good stuff, why no vacuum chamber sealing? thanks for sharing. enjoy your weekend.

I was getting too many holes and also the seal made it hard to open as it was too close to the ziplock

This is why I am not interested in vacuum sealing Mylar.

Hi John Sorry to hear about your brother. Was wondering if you tried freeze drying rice pudding? I have several pounds of Y2K rice that I want to repurpose and I'm wondering if it would be worth making and freeze drying rice pudding. Your thoughts? Thanks Mike B

My first reaction to “fish stew” was 🤢. But except for the shrimp that looks really tasty! Cod is a good fish type (as would be halibut, tilapia, or salmon), and the rest of those ingredients cooked to well that once again you’re making me hungry! Why do you pour a full cup of water if you’re only going to use 3/4? Aren’t you able to measure out 3/4 (and an additional 1/4 as needed) cup the first go-round? Just curious. Today you needed the full cup but if you could measure them out, it would seem like you’re not “wasting” water. I saw that you’re back to portions of noodles instead of including them in the pot. I guess for the pouches this is the better route. It was nice hearing that it had been several days between bagging and the taste test. I hope you include this fact in future videos. From our point of view it looks like you’re bagging and immediately cutting one open, wasting the bag, the o2, the process right away. Knowing it’s been a day or week makes it seem less wasteful. Thank you for listening/reading. It makes my life seem to have meaning.🤗

I press the button on my kureg and it dispenses 1 cup of hot water
