In memory of Emmanuel 'Pop' Blondeau. A FD recordings film.
This documentary is unofficial, it wasn't planned... so here's his story. At first, i asked the band to record a session for the show and they accepted to do it. They were ok too that i movie two or three songs of the gig in DIjon. So the first day, when they arrived, i started to shot the installation, and then the soundcheck, and then the beginning of the gig, and then some parts of the whole gig with one or two cameras... and the following day, i filmed the installation of the session, and all the rehearsals... I decided to make something with all of these rushs and here it is.
I wasn't paid for it and i won't earn money with it... it was made for AATT fans, with the agreement of the band.
Thanks to the band for their kindness and patience, to their lovely crew, to Emmanuel Pop for the interview, to "smiling" Spud, to Angel & Yann @ the venue La Vapeur, and of course to the nice people at Sabotage for their 'Kill Your Pop' festival.

AATT still going strong after all these years. I traveled from California to Paris to see them play live in 1997 and it was one of the greatest concert experiences of my life. . Justin still looks the same! Long live the Trees...

A wonderful look into one of my favourite bands. In a just world, they would be hailed as one of the great English progressive bands, up there with Robert Fripp for their creativity. No band has covered so much turf musically in the last twenty years and still made it accessible; brilliant!

amazing - not only the behind-the-scenes-stuff, but also the live performace footage. this is an important thing you've captured... of a great band that goes unrecognized.

"A work of love" de votre part?

I been trying to forever find out what is the offset Hofner guitar Justin uses, as well as the amp. The guitar looks like this www.herbpayne.com/files/images/20070521_0071.jpg and according to the person who put up the picture says its a 1967 Hofner Colorama II model. But looking up that model it looks like a different guitar that's symmetrical. Any answer to this would be greatly appreciated.
