What's actually disappointing is the fact that the so called educated brothers didn't correct him, and rather agreed. As a Muslim woman, finding Islam and getting closer to Allah was entirely an individual journey where Allah guided me and made me realise I need to change. The wife of pharoah found Allah, despite being the wife of a tyrant who hated islam, where was her man who 'gave' her islam. Mary, one of the greatest woman of all time, Allah loved her dearly and blessed her with a son of a Prophet. Im so disappointed by these words from sneako and these brothers wallahi

A common misunderstanding among Muslims is that some think the reason that women cannot marry non Muslim men is because they might be influenced to leave the religion for their weaker intellect. This is absolutely wrong for multiple reasons: 1. If women are intellectually weaker than men, then why are they judged on their faith as equally as men are, as is mentioned in multiple verses in the Quran. 2. Women are granted certain rights when it comes to marriage in Islam, including the dowry and marital allowance "النفقة". and these rights will most likely not be fulfilled by non Muslims. So it makes sense that only Muslim men can marry Muslim women. 3. Women are not intellectually weaker, but they are physically weaker. That's why men are the protectors and the leaders of their homes. That is also why prophets can only be men, since such a task requires physical strength and endurance. If a Muslim woman marries a non-Muslim man, he could physically harm her to force her to leave her religion.

Just because someone has voiced an opinion, it doesn't mean that you, as a woman, should feel worthless. Remember, in Islam, Allah has given you an invaluable role and significance in this world. Often, we, as Muslims make the mistake of valuing ourselves based on what others think, instead of what Allah teaches us. This misplaced focus empowers those ignorant individuals who understand the impact of their words, making them feel superior. I suggest you read the Quran and the Sunnah for yourself. These texts are very clear and can guide you. By understanding them on your own, you can protect your thoughts and feelings from being wrongly influenced by others.

Sneako has been apart of that extremely red pill podcast, he converted to Islam after (on the podcast) being introduced to Islam through the red pill movement and made comments about how Islam basically reinforces his red pill ideology. Men need to be careful in thinking this way. Islam is ONLY Islam, it does not fit your ideologies or ways of living and thinking before you take the shahada. Islam respects women, gives women our rights and cherishes us, men like sneako speak about women solely as property or someone to be used for men’s purposes. This is not Islam.

I received dawah from my FEMALE, Palestinian friend from Gaza, I never spoke to a Muslim man at all before I became Muslim and didn’t speak to a Muslim man until I started looking for marriage 2 years after taking my shahada. Having a revert that’s a few months deep in their journey into Islam telling me that I need a man to have a connection to Allah, is beyond insulting. These brothers need to be stopped and de-platformed. No revert who took their shahada a few months ago should speak on such issues and be taken as any kind of authority.

And like you said,, there is no need of a traumatic experience for both brothers and sisters to consider Islam. Both men and women have been given brains. Both have the ability to tell the truth apart from falsehood. Al-Hilali) and it was translated by 3 revert sisters. They had to take it upon themselves to fervently study Aqeedah, Manhaj, and the Arabic Language. This is the problem with some (Muslim) men in the West who adopt certain ideologies like MGTOW and Redpill. Yes, in the beginning it’s about men’s rights etc, like f€minism about women’s rights. However, after a while it evolves about hating or talking bad about the opposite gender, in SNEAKO’s situation women. As a Muslim man I am really disappointed and ashamed that Hijab and the other brothers didn’t correct SNEAKO or at least call him out for that like you did.

Sa’id ibn Zayd reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, this womb is derived from the name of the Most Merciful. Whoever severs its relations, Allah will forbid him from entering Paradise.” Source: Musnad Aḥmad 1651 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani "Whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, We will surely bless them with a good life, and We will certainly reward them according to the best of their deeds." Quran 16:97. Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon) said: Whoever has three daughters, and he accommodates them, show mercy toward them, and supports them, Paradise is definitely guaranteed for him. Thus, someone asked the Prophet, what if they are two daughters only. He replied, “[He gets that reward,] even if they are [only] two. “ Some of those present believed that had the Prophet been asked about only one daughter, he would have answered that the reward was applicable too. (Authenticated by Al-Albani) Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever supports two girls till they attain maturity, he and I will come on the Day of Resurrection (close to each other) like this -The Messenger of Allah joined his fingers to illustrate closeness.” (Muslim) Some scholars have gone as far as saying "If a man could see the reward women who are pious will get, even a woman will want to be a man!"

I didn’t have any close Muslim friends, I was about to commit suic!de but Allah swt guided me to 6 different mosques in Chicago, Illinois that day until I finally got enough courage to enter the masjid in Lawndale where I was welcomed, did wudu for the first time, and took my shahada rather than pulling the trigger as planned. No man in my close family is Muslim. I don’t have any Muslim guy friends. I don’t have a Muslim crush I reverted for. It was literally Allah swt who guided me. I swore I’d never become Muslim due to my ignorant misperceptions, misunderstanding, and outright insubordination. This is such an incorrect thing to say. I came to Islam as a 25 yr old single mom of 2 kids (5 & 9 so u can do the math and see I was a mom at 15) without a man and have since met 2 other muslimahs with similar stories. I know many women who come to Islam through their own logical thinking and search to be closer to our Creator. This man vs. woman way of thinking takes away the balance that Allah has given us through the Quran and Hadith. Men and women are each respected and given their rights as Allah sees fit and this new “red pill” ideology has been seeping its way into revert men and creating doubt and fear in the women who want to stay true to the Quran. KZbinrs and Dawah channels should be careful allowing (any) reverts who have not studied and lived their Deen for very long to speak in public channels because they end up guiding other new reverts down the wrong path and further from Allah.

JazakAllah khair for this video. Single mum here, teacher of self defence to women, and alhamdulillah have had one student take her Shahadah - without any guidance from a man. In fact, sadly, I'll be seeing her tomorrow as its her first Ramadan not fasting as the way her ex husband presented Islam to her effected her iman. No man is supporting her, it's the sisters who go to her aid alhamdulillah. Even if a woman may get some ilm from a usually male sheikh, connection to Allah is the fitrah as we ALL testified before Allah that He is our Creator before we even came to earth. I don’t watch this Sneako much, but have caught him saying offensive things about women, and brothers have just let him. I can make some excuses for him as he's new to the Deen and he had some dodgy views about women before he became Muslim. So, in sha'Allah, he's learning. However, there's no excuse watching him make these comments and influential brothers either let he comments slide, or even seem to support him subhanAllah. And then people wonder why feminists emerge (no, I'm not feminist and don't support it). Ppl seem to think they can say things about women that they wouldn't say about eg other races. Try growing up with that. Allah subhaanahu wa ta'aala has made Muslims to be the best of communities and the Muslim woman is respected and honoured in Islam. All I can say is, all the best to the women who have to live with men who harbour such demeening views about them. To think, such men go on to raise daughters. Allah help them.

Women and men are not the same ofc but we’re equal in value and as human beings particularly in the sight of Allah, I pray these brothers don’t forget this and Alhamdulillah for you to give this reminder to them🎉 I especially like how firm but fair you were towards the brothers Masha’Allah, honestly you’re a breath of fresh air Allahuma Barik, May Allah make it easy for you brother

I 100% agree with you. I had the same reaction. This idea or saying of his comes from Christianity. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 NIV 34. Women[a] should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

I grew up having been abandoned by my father, My mother is the woman who taught me about Islam. She is the reason I loved Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and The Prophet Muhammad Peace Be upon him. Even when my family used to talk ill about Islam, due to growing up in a household with a grandfather who would abuse them in the name of Islam, I did my best to defend my deen with what my mother taught me. I never lost my faith through the Mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. The one who was a source of guidance for me since I was a child was my mother. Forget about religion, You would not even have life if Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala had not blessed you with it through a women, Your mother. This Us Vs them mentality with men and women does nothing but spread corruption.

Thank you and bless you for this video. That episode of their show was indeed insulting and disheartening. What’s more is that a lot of Muslim men say that women should not be on Podcasts or online or speaking on anything, OK fine but then if that’s the case, then at least have our back. Speak for us! Don’t let anyone put us down like that. This was a perfect chance for them to speak upon the amazing women of Islam, and what they contributed to Islam, and they didn’t have the guts to puts Sneako in his place for the sake of their sisters. Very disappointing. So thank you and may Allah bless and elevate you InshAllah.

Women are not allowed to marry non muslim men not because their faith is weak but because traditionally the man's family would have authority over her financial wise and thus she could be pressures and coerced to revoke her religion. So I think the other three brothers sat here with Sneako had a responsibility to correct him at this point and recognise how far off his thoughts were. Especially after clarifying what was meant. We have many examples in our rich Islamic history of women being the leaders of Islam in their families. I pray that they make a follow up video and explain this to him. They are good brothers masha’Allah and I’m sure that they will correct the situation in a good way.

? As a woman that was born Muslim, I strengthened my faith and took Shadada on my own WITHOUT the influence of a man, not even my father. My father cried when I told him because he was in disbelief and shock. If women didn’t have the logic capabilities of understanding the Qu’ran then we wouldn’t be responsible for our sins like pre-pubescent children. Additionally, our husbands’ and fathers’ would be responsible for our sins. As you said, this isn’t Christianity. There are plenty of examples of when the wife went to Janah and the husband didn’t. Wow.

The claim is absolutely ridiculous. I’m a born Muslim. My father is a revert and my mother’s side of the family are all Muslim. I was brought up reciting the Quran however due to where I live in the West it has been hard to engage with Islam. But ALHAMDULILLAH, Allah (swt) found me and guided me and my life has been better since. This is not the work of a man. No man is the reason for my connection with the Almighty. Does our beloved book not say, “You surely cannot guide whoever you like ˹O Prophet˺, but it is Allah Who guides whoever He wills, and He knows best who are ˹fit to be˺ guided.” Surah 28:56 Perhaps a male influence can encourage Islam (e.g a father or grandfather) but he will never be the sole reason any woman has a connection with our creator.

Respect women, period. It doesn't matter what the Quran and Hadith say because obviously, the Quran and Hadith both value women MORE than men. But, if you are a REAL man, you would unconditionally respect ANYONE regardless of their gender/sex. My mom is a woman, my sister is a woman. I love and respect them (even my sister who's younger to me by 7 years) because I can't imagine a loving family like I have right now without them, Alhamdulillah. Every man who is disrespecting women or criticizing them unconstructively can't deny the fact that they were born from a woman. Doesn't matter whether your mom loves you or not. It might be the case for you but, still, your mother is your best companion in this world. You'll understand her value after she's gone. Our prophet (SAW) said that the mother comes first (3 times) before your father when it comes to whom you should serve more. Bayazid Bostami climbed hills to fetch water for his mother who asked for a glass and then fell asleep again, forgetting completely about it. Respect women. If you do that, then they'll have the haven to become true women, better wives, mothers, the foundation of society. The Western world is seeing womanhood as a joke and it's the men who are responsible. The society built by men has set such standards that compel them to become immodest and stray further away from God. It's the men who are responsible for the better lives of women. Men and women complement each other. This is a partnership, and that's what Allah (SWT) and our beloved Prophet (SAW) have ordered us to do. May Allah give you that ability, whoever is reading this. (ok looks like most of what I said is already in the video 😅)

Lets just clear it up. Women don't need a man to come to Allah. Many women in relationships are better Muslims than their husbands. The logical reason anyone can come up with as to why Muslim men can marry other people of the book, but muslim women can't is because; A muslim man in that relationship is held accountable for treating their wife right. And men are physically stronger than women. Whereas if a muslim women marries a man of the book who isn't muslim. Then how can we be so sure that the women who should be protected will be protected by this man who isn't muslim. A muslim man, however, has Allah and the true religion and other muslims who will hold him accountable. And the Muslim man, if oractising Islam cannot hurt his wife.
