That's what I've been telling you Saajid, there's something weird in the way of Uthman Ibn Farooq make people to say shahadah, it's like he's only care to make people say shahadah without explaining what is the real meaning of Tawhid to them, they don't know who Allah really is. Just say shahadah man then everything is going to be okay, I'll be witness for you in front of Allah. If I'm a da'i, I don't want to force people to say shahadah just for the sake of saying it and record them so that they will feel more uncomfortable to refuse. If this keeps up then maybe this kid Sneako would end up becoming Ahlul Bid'ah just like M.Hijab and Ali Dawah, plus that I AM A WARNER guy also refuse to listen to advice to not showing women on his thumbnails.

So I said even though you and your mom are having problems I still would like for her to say it’s ok. They were non Muslim. So her mom. Said it’s ok. So that day soon as we go to the misjit we had a speaker that day and it was just a very beautiful day. So she decided to come with us the next few days and one of the days we are in the misjit these few days she’s been learning and seeing the peace and love and so she decided… that she wanted to become Muslim and that took the shahada in the prayer room on her own. Which I started crying. It was beautiful. Btw she’s in her mid 20s and still Muslim. I am a convert from the early 2000’s and no man guided me, in fact I had a lot of resistance where it seemed like the men around me were not taking their deen seriously, and I am the one, not a man who asked Allah to guide me to the one true religion and he shown me Islam so I hope this brother really understands that Islam is not a man religion because that is almost what it seems like. Alhamdulillah, I learned Islam from a female friend and a male friend. I stopped contact with that man so I can focus on learning islam and figure out if I thought it was real. 9 months later, I accepted islam on my own. Never had this man in my life since then. Married a born muslim. I'm still muslim, trying to follow the sunnah as best as I can. My husband has been a wonderful teacher, but my Deen was there before i got married, and I hope until i die, regardless of whether he is in my life forever or not. Sneako has such a silly way to think on this topic. I know many reverts that converted and that wasn't because of their man. Some muslim women in my life have been great teachers and influence and I'm trying to be this for others as well!

Of course I’m talking about أم المؤمنين عائشه رضي الله عنه Aisha may Allah be pleased with her, and of course She was guided by Allah then our beloved prophet محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم Mohammad peace and blessings be upon him but what I’m saying is she was the reason that many many men understood their religion and I’m talking about great companions of our beloved prophet mayالله سبحانه وتعالى Allah be pleased with him.

Akhi, you hit the nail on the head @ 9:45 !! As an ukhti, this is exactly it. There is a culture of men (unfortunately muslim men, May Allah guide them) who have belittling thoughts about us. If only they knew the influence women have on men: it was a woman (Khadija RA) who accepted Islam first, the prophet pbuh was guided by women e.g. Umm Salamah when he needed advice. Our most narrated scholar is Aisha RA whose chains of narrations are all authentic and I could go on… I think western views on women have truly been the downfall of many brothers. Whilst we need men to uplift us, I feel the opposite is happening. Honestly, i have experienced more respect from non Muslim men.

He was also very correct at the end of the video when he said a father of a knowledgable woman would never give his daughter to a man that holds such low views on women and we would never marry them. Alhamdulillaah my whole family is upon the hidaya of Allaah, May Allaah azza wa jal keep us firm on it, my dad and brothers would chase women-hating men far away if they even tried to approach for our hand in marriage. We grew up on the Quran and Sunnah and I have never seen the men in my family ever do or say anything that demeaned another woman. They enjoin us to pray and fast and seek knowledge. They help with childcare and chores, and in family gatherings they help us by serving the men and helping in the kitchen. Sisters who are seeking to get married, I advise you look carefully at how the brother behaves with the women in his family, this is a window into how he will treat you and his daughters. Read the seerah of the prophet Salallahu alayhi wa Salam and his companions to see how related to women in the most honourable and respectful way. Find a man like this and teach your sons how to respect women, who are first teachers of the ummah.

Where is your evidence modern women are net negative compared to modern men? It’s more women that are coming to Islam than men. Modern men are just as misguided from the way of the Salaf as modern women. If you don’t believe in being on social media start with yourself and take yourself off the platforms, start by following your own advice. As for the status of women in knowledge enough scholars from Ibn Taymiyyah, Al-jawzi, to current Ulamah have been clear, if anyone is interested to find out more go to the scholars of ahlus Sunnah: Islaam has a rich history of female scholarship and of their contribution to the varied sciences of the religion, a history which is such that in the words of Imaam Ash-Shawkaanee (rahimahullaah): “It has not been reported from a single one of the scholars that he rejected the report of a woman - on account of her being a woman. For how many a Sunnah has the Ummah taken with acceptance from a single woman from the companions, this is not disputed by the one who has the slightest share of knowledge of the Sunnah.”[47] To conclude, Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr al-Asqalaani who in his work; Inbaa al-Ghumar[48] - amongst the numerous biographies and events which he recorded, in the events he cited for the year 798H, he entered a short - yet tender entry, being that of his own sister. The warmth of expression and the compassionate choice of words denote the endearment, its translation reads: Sitt ar-Rakb bint ‘Ali bin Muhammad bin Hajr, sister of its writer, she was born in the month of Rajab in the year seventy on the way to the Hajj, she was a recitor, a writer, a prodigy in intelligence. She was my mother after my mother.[49] I was befallen by her loss in the month of Jamaadil Aakhir of this year.

@@SimpleOrchidVlogs this man just babbles. He's under every reply defending women saying nonsense. Ignore him. Even many modern ulema were raised by single mothers who told them to study and encouraged them upon their studies. Sheikh Bin Baz is an example. Scholars say that the mother is the first school, so even if she isn't disseminating knowledge as a scholar herself, she raises scholars upon the path to knowledge. There are also several female scholars and students of knowledge upon the way of the Salaf, but sadly, their classes aren't as known. It personally took me many years to know I can attend a lesson by one of the students of Shaykh Muqbil (rahimahu Allah) and his daughter herself is knowledgeable. A net negative how, exactly? Not to mention classical scholars whose teachers were women, like Ibn Al Qayyim, Ibn Al Jawzi, and others, and the several Sahabiyyat that Ibn Al Qayyim listed as those who gave religious rulings. It is true that we need more knowledgeable women and women should know that it is accessible to them but we also don't need to spread falsehoods to improve things.

In Surah 28,Verse 56, Allah(swt) says: "You surely cannot guide whoever you like O Prophet, but it is Allah Who guides whoever He wills, and He knows best who are fit to be guided." The brother's utterance clearly contravenes the statement of Allah(swt). SubhanAllah! Given that these brothers regard themselves as people who INVITE to Allah(swt), they should ensure that whatever content they put out there is guided by the Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and not their personal views(I think). Allah(swt) states in the Quran, Chapter 50, Verse 45: "O Prophet, We are well aware of what they say; and you are not required to force things on them. So exhort with the Qur'an all those who fear My warning." Apologies to all women who might have heard this utterance and being rightly outraged. 3 seconds into the podcast clip and I already know what's going on. That's something Sneako's Christian friend says all the time, it's a Christian thought process. He needs to leave that behind, that is not Islam. Men and women are equal in the sight of Allah, in marriage the man simply has a degree of responsibility above the woman. But as humans, they're equal. Such a vile comment from him. About the influence thing. I don't remember the exact statistic but I recall reading that when the husband/man of the family does something new/changes, 96% of the time, the family follows suit, however, it's a far lower % when the wife does something new/changes. So in that sense, it's Allah's wisdom at work here. I believe that to be one of the reasons Muslimahs are not allowed to marry outside of Islam, because their children are most likely not going to follow her in religion and faith. And another quick edit note: The Greatest Woman To Ever Grace This Earth - Mariam alayhi salam. Which man guided her to Islam? But you said it perfectly, it is Allah who guides. No prophet, no man, no woman. Nobody but Allah guides whom He wills.

The best book I read about women in Islam is This is Islam by Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq and he explained this issue. He's a student of knowledge and teacher from the UK who studied under Saudi scholars and is upon the way of the salaf. He explained that in origins, worth, reward and status, women are equal to men. The degree over women is related to responsibility and the authority because of that responsibility and not inherent superiority. Superiority comes from piety (49:13) and not gender. He said that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه و سلم said that "women are twin halves of men" and used many other evidences from authentic sources to show that we're inherently equal and that rulings usually apply the same way except in specific situations.

The obsession with "famous" people reverting to Islam in the Ummah today baffles me. Suddenly this Sneako guy is all over my timeline.

I think he may have misunderstanding of verse Al Nisa 34, "Men are the caretakers of women, as men have been provisioned by Allah over women and tasked with supporting them financially. And righteous women are devoutly obedient and, when alone, protective of what Allah has entrusted them with".

But it does not say that without men, women cannot be guided.. and again Quran is again clear that it is only Allah who guide whoever He wills.

Did you just compared Aisha radiallahanha with an average culturally muslim woman !?

@@user-ue4fh5mv9s exactly why then men compare themselves to prophets and certain sheikhs for example? As far as we know, other than special individuals like prophets, most men and most women are as capable of understanding and embracing faith.
