I'll try and clear this up again. Basically, slavery was a condition forced on black people, they had no choice in the matter. He slipped with the with coin reference but as far as the cotton weighing a pound point, it completely went over your head. He’s referencing the amount of mass accrued in a pound of COTTON! Do you know how much cotton you have to pick to accrue a pound??? He’s saying the metrics used to weigh cotton picking was totally manipulated. A pound of bricks does not take up the same amount of space as a pound of cotton. That was his point. You can’t even start a foundation of a house with a 1/3 of a brick but a pound of cotton can make you a whole T shirt. Lol
