The regular goophones are designed to scam people, and will typically be sold in dodgy phone and vape shops and markets, where there is zero buyer protection. The welcomised goophones are designed for places like eBay with stronger buyer protection, in order to avoid the buyer reporting the seller for selling a fake Samsung (the seller can make the excuse it's not a Samsung as it's mentioned nowhere in the listing)

Hey pretty sure if you try to smart switch data to it, it locks the old phone. Maybe our customer and t mobile made a mistake but I work at a phone repair store and they brought a fake s24 ultra to t mobile to switch the data and said when they plugged them into each other, the old phone got a pass code it didn't have and couldn't get unlocked.

Hey Johnzoid, quick question. More so related to the ad sponsor rather than the video itself but would you reckon that that's actually a decent brand for a mesh router system? I've been looking at something to replace my wifi 6e Nighthawk mesh system at home, as it's limited to 1.2gbps, and my wifi is now at 2.2gbps. From what I've read, it'll be best to just go up to wifi 7 and stick with the mesh system I rock.

It's crazy to me how close they get these things look wise to the actual product. It kind of shows how much these phone manufacturers are over charging for these high end smart phones. I've heard it only takes about 50 bucks to make a Iphone. Obviously companies need to make money but they are charging crazy amounts over and keep raising the price while giving less and less in the box. Ya these phones obviously don't have the same chipsets but even with the superior specs it's like 90 percent profit I think the actual design has very little to do with upping the price.

You do have to marvel at the engineering here. For them to be able to get so good. I'm sort of a fan of LG phones RIP and the v60 sort of enthusiast audiophile community has been dealing with some of the most impressive knock-off/chinesium phones I've ever seen. Most of them legitimately use an 865 chip but the phones are repurposed out of a combination of legitimate and illegitimate parts and they're getting so good at it that you need to take the thing apart just to tell.

If you ever get a chance please try to buy an LG v60 and see if you can suss out if it's real or not. In Shenzhen they've become so efficient at replicating that device which has regal status amongst audiophiles and sort of fans of old school phones with headphone jacks and SD cards. And it's doing Android 13 and a perfectly good functional phone. You can find it for $150 bucks maybe $200 a little extra if you want the dual screen case
