I find this method for fake hairline so much "animeish" than the lace front wigs. I've ordered a lace front wig for my hawks cosplay but I'm wondering about trying this method to make it look more like the anime. Super nice and clear tutorial 💕

@@chris_chris_dav The sides were actually the hard part for me, so you might be able to just glue the hairline for the bangs in front and leave some short pieces hanging down for the sides. Diavolo is awesome too though, good luck with whichever you decide to do!!

TIP: You could just tape a weft to the hairline on the forehead and then put the glue down right above it and stick it in and then once it’s dry it just cut off the part where its sewed together it would be a little faster and easier

This is a great tutorial. I was looking for a tutorial on how to alter a hairline because I want to give a grandma wig from Amazon a widows peak and the tip to use felt is good advice and hopefully it works out😅. ( I originally was just going to cut into the wig most likely messing it up).

Why did you cut off the first weft? Is it to use as extra wefts for gluing, or to make the hem raw so the glue sticks better or something? I'm not quite sure I understand that part. Hey I tried your tutorial, but without the felt. Uff it is so static and wont hold on the head. I dont have any felt and dont know where to get it. The felt i know is really thick and so I tried it without the felt.
