*Awesome impact **MyBest.Tools** Takes tires off in a second. Plenty of power for what I’ve used it for - rotating tires. Using it on 3rd setting for removal and 2nd setting for tightening lugs.*

I have the same model but but with the 1/4 hex and is not much slower than other brushless makita impact drivers . I'm a builder and already used it most days for about a year now and is still ok . It's not good as a wrench but ideal as a impact driver . You won't find any better tool for up to £50 and for this price You can have 2 of these :)

Yep, we may end up with two.

Did you have the fake makita on the small/ low setting sounded like it ?

That would be an easy fix, but it seems to be an issue with the motor. Our fake Makita is dead.

@Tony Pony Freedom of speech is such a wonderful thing. Folks get upset when the fake Makita fails. Pretty good for videos though. We trashed ours. Chapter closed.

I bought two knock offs. Each cost me $30 USD and works as well as Makita. I even bought two knock off 6 AH batteries. They work like charm too. The same knock offs can be bought for $5 USD each. My point is...nothing isn't made in China nowadays. I refuse to be ripped off by brand names.
@soilmanted2 жыл бұрын
Knock-off batteries will generally work fine, for a time. The problem with them is not their voltage or the intitial amperage and power, but their ampere-hour rating, and as a result, how long they last. A 5 ampere-hour rated genunine Makita battery will put out 5 amps for 1 hour before it needs recharging, or 1 amp for 5 hours. 500 milliamps for 10 hours. Approximately. You get the idea. A 5-ampere-hour rated non-genuine battery pack will typically actually be only 2 or 3 ampere hours. _The rating is a lie._ So it will put out 500 milliamps for only 5 hours. Both batteries will work fine, but the non-genuine will peter out after 5 hours, the genuine will last 10 hours. Not only that, but some cheap capacitor in the non-genuine battery is likely to fail after 6 months or a year, and the battery won't take a charge at all. The genuine battery is likely to go on working for 7 years before it won't hold a charge anymore. So when you spend $5 on a supposed 5 ampere-hour battery, ask: what would a genuine 2 ampere-hour battery cost? Is that aftermarket battery less than that? If it isn't, you aren't getting a fair deal.

Nice video! Can you tell me is the battery that you used on the fake driver a genuine Makita or was it just some junk that came with that horrible driver? They are selling thousands of these fakes here at some of the big box online stores for USD$30
