They started to produce English content quite recently. Their main KZbin channel ( it's Russian speaking only) is gaining at least 20 million views every month. They are doing A LOT to inform Russian people about this war and what really is happening. Their daily live streams with news getting hundreds of thousands. And additional to this they are making a short videos, which are getting good numbers as well. So yeah these guys are brilliant and they are fighting for the truth and for real independent journalism, inspired by dreams about free, democratic and pacific Russia of the future. Stick with this people. They are doing really great job!

This war is a geopolitical one, nothing more and nothing less, making it a holy war just complicates things even more and is a sign of desperation and also gives Russia's rivals the reason to to give no quarters to the Russians, thinking that a religious fanatic is a very dangerous opponent who has no logic and that the only way to deal with them is thru extermination or atleast the complete destruction of their mental state just like what the nukes did in Japan.

Christian Orthodox. Like Catholic, but started earlier from Istanbul in Turkey and the Eastern Roman empire.

Russian Orthodox in ethnic Russian areas. There are also others (like Islam) depending on the cultural/ethnic make-up in other areas. Russian Orthodox is the one that's being pushed by the Russian State, since they have tight control over what the church says and does and a strong State propagandist in Patriarch Kiril.
