What is the difference between disinformation and misinformation?
They are not the same thing. Disinformation is fabricated to cause public harm or make profit, while misinformation is defined as wrong or misleading information not intended to cause harm.
Find out more with security expert Andrea G. Rodríguez in this new series on Disinformation, how fake news distorts our worldview and what we can do about it.

It's smart to start withdrawing and proving what you believe doing personal research has to be a thing, only take info from people you trust and are actually capable and actually put thought to situations, problems, goals etc.

Ohh, big problem there. Trust is one thing, but finding people today who can figure things out is pretty rare. Public education has done it's sabotage. We are losing our ability to "reason", and figure out reality,---and that is what makes us human.

In an era of advanced political correctness, the manipulation of language in a dysfunctional way that actually has us trying to communicate with words and phrases that have no objective definition, and for that reason, we only have political discussions that are unintelligible,--------------------------------have you ever wondered why the words "misinformation" and "disinformation", are used to "seem" like "false information", and not use the word "False"? Could it be that the information is true, but not preferred by some to be known? It is not called "false information", and all we need is "true" or "false" information. Tricks of language. Take words for what they mean, not what we think they mean.

If it is not called "False information", than it is probably true. Different words have different meanings, and false only means one thing. Not true. Complicating language keeps us confused, and is also part of this so called "progress".
