Could you provide information on whether there are any regulations set by statutory bodies like the UGC specifically for agriculture colleges regarding the minimum standards required to open new government and private agricultural colleges or universities? This includes requirements for land, staff, laboratory facilities, and other essential infrastructure for establishing and running professional courses. Additionally, has the Sixth Dean Committee made provisions stating that universities or colleges that do not adhere to the minimum standards prescribed by ICAR or UGC cannot confer degrees in agricultural courses?

sir i have read the whole 6th dean report....i want to ask you one thing as you have such impact and open for new ideas...why do not ICAR accredit universities initially before starting the course ...as MCI and other bodies does....isn't it unfair for student who do not have initial knowledge about ICAR accreditation...and university remain incompetent in securing accreditation.....to improve quality of agriculture studies ....accreditation should have to be mandatory not optional.
