The scene where they break into his house is one of my favourites, the control Voight has over them in this scene is incredible 🎉

“Our paper did the right thing.” Firing someone based on unconfirmed rumours instead of, I don’t know, literally anything else? That wasn’t the right thing, it’s the easy thing to do when you‘re okay with someone else losing everything just so you can save face. If anything, firing him probably made him look more suspicious.

Most people would’ve sued for wrongful termination. But I guess this guy wanted to take a Unabomber route

they fired him just so they could save face. they were only protecting themselves.

This same type of scenario happened in an SVU episode as well. A nurse walked in on a doctor molesting a child, she went to HR, & the hospital administrator threatened to take away her job if she said anything in order to avoid the accused doctor of filing a lawsuit in case it was false

@@joewhitehead3I remember that episode that’s same one where one of the victims falsely accused his teacher of molestation

Humanity has developed this insane ability to connect dots even if they are incomplete. A _key_ survival instinct. Depending on how thorough the reporting was... well, people would think he's the killer.
@jediskunk67 Жыл бұрын
@@reapereye2122 Rumors don't confirm anything. If he was the murderer, they would have needed evidence and witnesses interviewed, plus samples of DNA for lab testing.

If you're talking about the show, it's because it's part of the Chicago series. And the fact that they go on for multiple seasons and have crossovers don't make it easy to be a new fan

There was an Aussie cop show calloed City Homicide. The clip makes me think of the pilot episode. I think the show is on you tube. That first episode was worth watching.
