I was nineteen when, coming back from a school trip in Austria , I listened to this song for the last time while writing the last page of diary. Fifteen years have passed, I moved away from that house, get married, had a son. I've never found my diary again. But now I realize that I don't need to find my diary to know what I wrote: "I just want to be happy, somehow" I wrote. And somehow, I'm happy now. So: thank you, for making me listen to this song, as if it was the first time. Once again.

My favorite song as well. Raw emotion, conveyed in lyrics that, I believe, are deeper then they appear at first glance/listen. One of the few covers I've seen that actually does the song justice. I don't know if this makes sense, but the way that you sing the song, I feel like you must love it as much as I do, and it just makes it so good. I like that you didn't try to change it, and that you kept it in its original state. I'm all for making a song your own, but I like that you sang it the way Thom would, so I disagree with those who say you lacked emotion. Contrarily, I think the apathy is what makes the song.

The thing is the moment she commercializes herself, all this beautiful singing will go for a toss. Because you know the record houses of today are only about autotune.
