This seems to be the one “old-school” Radiohead song that Thom still has a deep emotional attachment to, he’s played it consistently solo and with the band over the years. I would love to see Black Star or Bullet Proof get similar acoustic treatments later on this tour.

@@julianholland4009 i once read that they wrote this after seeing jeff buckley.. may have something to do with the sentimentality

@@isackpooton7501yes, my friend once did a cover of fake plastic trees at a Jeff Buckley tribute night. I think thanks to Jeff Thom got inspiration and confidence to use his falsetto voice, which I would say is a huge part of Thoms signature sound

Me, a dude getting old, listening to a song written five years before I was born, played by a dude who wrote the song at the same age I am now, singing it with passion as if it were brand new. Crazy.

Dude you're growing older, not getting old. You're in your mid 20's ffs, that's the epitome of being young. The internet and its skewed perception of everything seriously fucked us all up.

Is it me or this is one of the most solid performances of this song he's given in a while? His voice is soaring.
@sebasreeeАй бұрын
i think its because hes less stressed now and taking it all more calmly, does not care about what people think and complain and it's how it should be. I'm happy for him I see he's in good health

Thank you so much Elly for recording all these videos. Living on the side of the world it’s tough missing this tour, but these videos are just wonderful for being able to enjoy them. I’m blown away at how well Thom is performing. Mind blowing.

I've been a fan ever since someone let me listen to OK Computer. To see Thom here, after all these years of superb music, singing with this gorgeous voice in this intimate setting just feels so good. I am happy his voice is aging so well.

Awesome song. On the other hand, I don’t understand why he regretted High & Dry from his repertory while Creep returned on tour with Radiohead.
