It may seem, silly, but these are great for businesses who have dumpsters. It will discourage people from using your dumpster or from rooting through your trash and making a mess. But as it is only a nuisance, it doesn't really warrant the expense of a real security.

HINT: I just ordered four black dome dummy cameras. the tubed hooded ones like this review shows, seem like a pretty aggressive stance if aimed at your neighbors, plus anyone wd think they have a very narrow range of recorded video due to its very limited focus so a person wd think they could commit a crime by approaching from the side of it. the black dome type dummy cameras give the illusion they can record anything that the domed glass is facing ie a full 180 degree view that its mounted on. plus they give a more surveillance type view instead of a aggressive IM STARING AT YOU mode to your neighbors. Be careful of the stance youre putting out to your neighbors. and DONT install them WHEN your neighbors are HOME bc then they can see that youre NOT connecting them THROUGH the wall then they KNOW theyre NOT REAL! for more authentic look, attach obvious thick black WIRES that loop from the rear of the camera and back into the housing plate so the viewer thinks its connected internally to a video computer recorder. cheap and very effective. Im putting 4 black domed dummy cameras on the exterior of my house.

Listen having problem with neighbor states he sees me throwing things in back yard guess what people know fake when fake because first your telling us second google third you look it up you know not good deterrents for me then telling us he is protecting the neighborhood. Lmao did not work for us
