Think of it like trading stamina for magicka while having the advantage of reduce damage during. Think you'd lose too much stamina dustain personally. And best on sword and shield builds.

High hp = wasted damage/sustain/resistances High hp builds are only good for zerglings, you won't be able to beat anyone decent 1v1

@@vaderd4353 still has 3k-3500 wd. You'll get more DMG out of pen than the other stats against a similar 26000 armor target. They released a spreadsheet that said which mundas would boost your DMG the most as my source.

@@stevenpitera8978 yes but weapon damage increases heals also. Max health is a wasted stat, there is a reason almost all the best duelers run around 16-18k without pvp 5k health increase.

@@vaderd4353 sure, but theres a case to just use the pen. On the spreadsheet the class reps showed how thief/lover/shadow were outperforming max resource/Spell dmg, lover is almost 4k higher dmg than thief on a 23000 armor target (they originally used basic raid armor values, so you have to adjust the sheet a tad). You will get healing for sure on the SD/WD mundas stones, but if you are attacking you trade 50% offense to boost something you might not use. And then theres a the case that dueling should not be used to be a litmus test in pvp in a game designed around group content. You will have to sim the results, last i checked boosting the armor pen while increasing crit was substantially better offense. Also thief adds to healing as well, and if you have 1.8 modifer on heals, you can turn a 2k vigor into 3600, a 44% increase on the heal which is like almost having two major mending bonuses stacked lol. And next patch shadow is going to impact heals; SD/WD meta is dying off.

Probably. The trade off would be expending stamina with the normal uses of stamina mechanics like break-free & dodge rolling on a magicka toon. Etc. And you could have more max mag depending on class.

Heavy attack sustain means that you forgo resource recovery stat for other stats, and use heavy attacks to replenish your resources instead. That is usually the case for heavy armor builds, they don't have resource recovery passives, but have heavy attack resource increase instead. It's basically a more manual way of recovering resources instead of a stable over time one.
