I have seen quite a few electric violinists playing with a backing track in shopping center parking lots lately. At first, I was naive and thought they were real musicians. Then, I got a closer look and noticed the playing wasn't in sync with the melody and no vibrato motion on the finger board. Then that's when I got suspicious they were faking it.
