I loved this watch! Brought back so many grate memories with my father 🙂. Back when I wasa kid ! We only used mepps no 2 spinner with a inch off rag ! If the rag did not come off the hook straight, we did not catch! We also caught with the spinner tipped with red maggots! Hope this helps anyone who has ago . Had some cracking bass on the same method 👌 also sea trout! Low water was always the best time ..

It was great to finally get out and test them side by side. I was very pleased with the results. Nice to have something that can just live in your bag for when the opportunity arises to fish, but you can't get any live worm.

Great video, enjoyed it a lot. I do have a question for a newbie, what is the best time of the day to go for mullet/bass in Christchurch area? Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hi mate. My favourite time would be fishing the tide down to an evening low. So this time of year, maybe a low tide about 9pm, then fish 6pm to 9pm. I hope this helps.

That's one I did a few years ago. Although I use much heavier fluorocarbon now than I did in this video. I'll use anything up to 0.40mm/20lb. Using thicker line reduces the twist you can get.
