I had no idea what was going on, the maid came and I was like 'NOOOO DONT FRIKIN FLIRT WITH HER WHAT ABOUT YOUR WIFE' and then I got the pop up with Mary Sue's job and they kicked her out and I was so sad, I thought I was so bad at this game because nothing was working out as I wanted, I remember I almost cried, then I closed the game and when I opened it after a few days again, I created my own family and didn't play as any preset family for more than a year...I WAS THIS HORRIFIED 😭

Misophonia. It's when certain sounds, especially repetitive sounds, make you irrationally enraged and distressed in a matter of, like, milliseconds. I have it and eating and drinking sounds, general gross mouth sounds, heavy breathing, sniffling, tapping, plastic crinkling, silverware scraping ceramic, sort of cruncht squeaky noises like stepping in thick wet snow, and a few other things trigger it for me. I typically wear headphones and listen to music in the background, which also helps keep me from getting overstimulated, and I ALWAYS listen to music when others around me are eating. This helps me not want to kill people for existing too loudly on a regular basis.
@xoderota3 жыл бұрын
this family is probably my favorite out of the sims 2 families ALSO: I hate asmr too! I think for me the reason is sensory issues? It's probably not the same for everyone but I just can't stand certain sounds (or other sensory things but. you get what I mean.) and I'm probably not the first to say this but I'm really glad you're talking about mental health issues like they're normal because they are! I'm just so used to people being either very private about them (which I get, I'm not trying to shame anyone) or toxic positivity and it's really refreshing and validating to hear someone just being like "yeah I had a panic attack earlier". You just have to find the kind of ASMR you like it’s literally just about slowing down and enjoying how things sound to relax so if you don’t like how something sounds normal you’re not gonna like it when it’s super blown up through a microphone. Personally ASMR about fizzing stuff thunderstorms/rain water that kind of thing super relaxing. Also you were talking about panic attacks and crying and stuff like that there’s ASMR where is somebody role-playing taking care of you so even if nobody is free to help you with what you’re going through You still can listen to a personal attention asmr and have some comfort.

You said to the dog: “The Broke family is the worst family in the sims” I can see why it left an impact on him.

Roofing advice I learned the hard way: You have to do the roofing partially. You take two half roof pieces and line them up with the walls of the second story (for room pieces that stand out you put them back a couple of tiles) and then you take a full roof and put it on top. You also have to make sure to close the rooms properly so your side roofs don't glitch into the rooms. This also happens when you put platforms or delete some floor to create an open flight of stairs or whatever which is so annoying but if you are like me and really need those in your life you have to further split up the roof so it doesn't get into any of your rooms. If you just put one whole roof on there you can also put the walls down but that sucks because you can't put down any pictures and it's just annoying to play with so the best way for me personally is to split up the roofing into a minimum of 3 roof pieces.

I love your rambling. I ramble like that too, and everyone around me tell me they have no idea what I'm talking about, but, guess what? I know what you are talking about! I'm really happy I found out that I'm not the only person that talks like that on this hellish planet.

Whenever I'm making a sims family, I always think "If I put them next to the pleasant family, would they be as iconic as you think they are" and most of the time it's not, but at least some actually passed the test lmao.

As a rambler, I personally love when you ramble. reminds me of me, and idk if you also do anything similar, but when i am looking for thought-to-speech, i have a tendency to flap my hands as i search.
