Based on what we've seen so far, I'm almost inclined to say the final match of the tournament is gonna be Fakes vs. Watermess. Just insane at predicting and bringing great focus to the game.

You can get a lot worse than that imo. As far as normal types go I think you’d have to bring something like raticate or delcatty to make people think you’re throwing

Spoilers: Game 2 . . . I fucking love Rhydon, this was so cool to watch! My first shiny ever was a Rhyhorn in Pokémon Platinum, so even since there I had an emotional attach to that evolution line. Rhydon is also my favourite mon in ADV OU. I'm so happy to see this creative picks in a lot of sets, ADV is at the same time a really refreshing tier, but one that has a lot of cool and solid picks, so you can also play by the books easily

it give me a lot of pleasure seeing rhydon one-shot celebi especially that i've been laddering with rhydon quite a bit and it's often... well... very fragile

rhydon is so cool but so hard to build around, you'd think he's a tank with that massive def and health but he feels paper thin even against some physical moves

Spoiler: game 1 That double crit was definitely a fakes moment for sure, although to be fair he could've won without it, it would just be another game without the crits...
