Holy crap this is top tier content right here EVs really do make a Lvl 27 Swellow hit as hard as a Lvl 45 Swellow You gave me some motivation to finish the extra hyper no-cheese hardcore nuzlocke I left unfinished here on youtube for 2 years, thanks (And your point about low attention spans... yeah, I guess it really is detrimental to the long form content we'd like. But you may as well upload other important battles as short episodes like this one, I'm really curious to see how you beat Winona and others)

i mean i'd love to, but the issue is idk what the best way to do so is. i mean some of the early game stratagys were really boring. roxanne? shroomish. brawly? sableye. watson? geodude. flannery? war flashbacks. and no its less evs and more baton passing multiple swords dances that does that but evs help i guess. good luck!

yes. that is what baton pass does.

yup, that's why Baton Pass strategies are usually banned in competitive play since you could make a whole team with 5 team members who all have Baton Pass and moves to boost every single stat before switching in the sixth Team Member who then sweeps through everything

first partner pokemon generaly refers to pokemon the proffesor gives you at the start of the game. i like torkoal. weather is one of my faverate mechanics in pokemon and acess to drought is very valuable to set it up. between yawn and curse it has a few good sets it can run. i kinda want to try plaing with shell amour but its a pain to get the hidden ability. also i have a shiny torkoal so i cant complain on that frount.

paralised pokemon can attack, sleeping pokemon cannot. also its generaly more valuable to baton pass after your opponent moved than before as that way you can switch in without taking a hit. paralasis interferes with this
