Clarification if Gojo had simple domain as a teen ⬇️ In the official fanbook, page 40. Akutami lists Gojo’s full abilities. He doesn’t list simple domain because when he used it on Sukuna in the latest chapters, Kusakabe implies that he can do anything on his first try. So while we can say “it was possible he could do simple domain as a teen” that’s not fair since it objectively wasn’t in his arsenal back then and we would be giving Gojo the benefit of the doubt. Also…. In the same fanbook, Gege clarified that Gojo can do “almost” anything he tries. So the statement shouldn’t be taken too literally. Remember when he tried doing reversal red agaisnt the bag masked guy and didn’t work? Maybe I’d believe more in that Gojo could do simple domain after awakening because he truly understood and felt the core of cursed energy. But this video is regarding Pre Awakening gojo

It is the same as FBE (mechanics is different).People have forgotten that Gojo can learn or do anything as long as the working principle/instructions behind the technique are clear to him. he was able to use purple (because his ancestors left instructions on how to do so), reverse cursed energy he learned by multiplying negative energy(solved the equation which shoko fails to explain) , made his domain smaller by using the prison realm concept, and teleportation

If gojo was already basically the undisputed strongest, wouldnt he have to have a reliable counter to a DE even as a teen? I dont see why he couldnt just teleport away before its fully activated even. I honestly dont see him losing a 1v1 pre awakening to anybody in the new generation even if they have DE. Current maki was compared to toji, and pre awakened gojo is stronger than toji in a head on fight. So at bare minimum pre awakened gojo would have to be top 3 in the new generation.

Maybe, we don’t know if Gojo pre-awakening can even teleport - his first ever use of it was after he awakened against Toji. He definitely can’t long range teleport since he said he was still working on it a year after HI. Also, there’s only 1 sorcerer back in 2006 that 100% had a domain (Kenjaku), Yuki might have had one too, but otherwise, having a domain counter wouldn’t even matter back then for Gojo since no one he fought would be even able to use it. All other sorcerers with domains were either inactive (CG participants and Sukuna) or didn’t unlock it yet (Yuta, Disaster Curses etc…)

I think the point you brought up about teen gojo not being able to have the limitless up automatically is wrong. It seems like when he activated it, it stays on until he turns it off. Like it drains stamina while its running and he maintained it for 3 days straight. I doubt any fight 1v1 would last that long. Also he just learned to refine it and keep it going at all times it’s not like increase the potency of it. I think teen gojo is still too 10 in the verse.

thinking about it some more. I think gojo could have been the strongest at this point already. But his ego and mindset probably got in the way of him exploring his potential. in the early days we see him be disrespectful and not care about people he doesn’t respect. this is imo the reason why he couldn’t grasp RCT fully and even use red yet. He wasn’t applying himself fully to it. Toji humbled him and probably for the first time in his life fully concentrated and applied all energy to trying to do something. In this case use RCT. The stakes were at their highest he either did so or died. and because he finally fully applied himself, he achieved it. and not only achieved it but ended up understanding curse energy fully. his eyes were always there showing him, he just needed focus. after toji we see a complete switch up of his mindset. He starts training seriously and the fruits of that training brought about the gojo we have today. the goat himself. So while I do believe he could achieve anything if he tried, his mindset was the issue.

I don't get why people keep talking about "post awakening" or "gojo will have another awakening" as if that was an actual thing that happened. Gojo never had an "awakening", the narrator called it that because that moment was when Gojo learned Reverse Cursed Technique and became the Gojo we knew from later. Since Gojo is mirroed with the Buddha, that was the implication, but there was never any power-scaling factors involved. He almost died, figured out Reverse Cursed Technique, filled his head so much with it he got high and that was it.
