Der Österreichische Sänger Falco widmete den Song "Kamikaze Cappa" dem Kriegsreporter Robert Capa, der 1954 in Indochina starb als er auf eine Mine trat. Falco selbst starb 1998 bei einem Autounfall in der Dominikanischen Republik als er bei einer Ausfahrt einen herannahenden Bus übersah. Ironie der Geschichte. Beide wurden 40 Jahre alt.
