With how the localizations for the series is being handled, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people feel burnt out owith Hajimari's localization coming up soon. I haven't gone back to Ao yet mostly because I'm still resting from finishing up Zero a few months back. Something I kind of do hope Falcom doesn't do is fall back too much on flashbacks for stuff that seem like it happened 10 minutes ago. I recall that being one of my main gripes for CS4 where it did feel like they fast forward too much and couldn't figure out a good way to squeeze a conversation outside of a flashback.

Just finished Kuro 2 like a weeks ago. I have to agree with max, kuro 2 like DLC of kuro 1, yeah the story execution and lore still like same like trails as ever, but thats it, the game was short, somehow they wasted the character like almata from kuro 1 like garbage, just 5 new character, and 5 new playable character which is already introduce from kuro 1 and reverie. New minigames? Yeah, new mechanic well it's not helping that much. Basically the games just dlc of kuro 1. In my complain in kuro 1 was like the story portion of the game was too long, but in kuro 2 it was too short. It's like kuro 1 has 75% of story and kuro only had 25% story, I dunno maybe it will done better if falcom just make cliffhanger in kuro 1 and continue it in kuro 2.

Just random thoughts and my views when watching the video, they are not organized: I too agreed with localizing azure and nayuta was a massive mistake.. I was hyped on release today of azure and I just don't see a lot of streams, viewership # is low.. For Chinese community, since we get mostly everything localized after 1 year/ half a year, they have the same idea that trails just died after azure. Here is the thing. Falcom is just not an international company. They are not even big, with very traditional views of the game and bussiness. Look at the employee numbers, look at the yearly conference reports, it is just disappointing that they don't want to expand and venture more to create a big hit. I think Falcom just has a very conservative view of how the games should be made and how they handle business. And this has shown time and time again with their relationship with XSEED, then onto NISA. I love floofy, she has done a lot to the community and I respect her a lot. I am just greatful that this games series I like have decent recognition in the west. It is something that I never would have seen it to happen, so I guess my feelings are "your accidentally conceived daughter?" I don't know, it is just such a shame Falcom is like this man. I had fun in Kuro 1 as well, but Kuro 2 man it was horrid to a not worth buying level like CS2. I adjust my expectations and wish them the best of luck, there is not much time for Falcom to keep the trails charm. I didn't even play Kuro and Kuro2 on release, I used to do that for every trails game from CS up to reverie... Guess I have grown up and there are much more weight on me in life so I guess that is a good thing? Actually, this is the phase I have been through, now I really cared less, there are many more good games out there, like 13 Sentinels. I genuinely think it is a game that surpasses trails in writing, would been great if you guys play it. LOL now it is 3 am, I go sleep now and hope tomorrow's work isn't too bad.

Ooh, I love 13 Sentinels. The story is very contorted and twisted all around, which is amazing. The whole game has crazy writing, it gives you that satisfaction you wish Trails gave you when you see how everything goes together. However, it is a game I could only experience once. Unlike Trails, I just can't watch other people play it more than once. It was an experience I'll never forget though, and I am glad someone else mentioned it as a reference for good writing!
