Phenomenal battle theme! This is my favorite track in the whole soundtrack. It's like an amalgamation of hard rock and Quincy Jones, which is an INSANE combo!

Koguchi's melodies are always so well crafted. A beautiful flow, delightful use of sequences, shaped such that the patterns lead to natural climax points of ebb and flow. Some will shoot me for this, but I believe Koguchi is the most gifted composer Falcom have ever had. He captures a certain energetic magic.

Love the melodies and chorus in this one. Outstanding track, one of my favorites from Koguchi. The bass is also insanely good. The pattern at the start of the chorus reminds me of Mario's Starman (also happens in Wailing Siren). 🤭

It’s crazy that this song is literally only used for open sea Onyx Tuna fishing. When it could have been an amazing boss theme or battle theme 😢Edit: It does play when you fight the human griegers in some cases per the comment below, but it is not often and you kill them so fast you hardly hear it. Either way this banger track is severely underused.
