SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket with 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base on Sunday at 9:57 p.m. local time.
Observing the launch in the western sky, the rocket passes by Jupiter at 0:56 in this video and moves easterly, disappearing into the southern sky below Sirius, the brightest star in the sky.
