you're getting me close to my first campaign flight :) is this cool if I leave it here? I made me a kneeboard page from your vid :) 1. Pre-Mission Setup: 1.1 Select Targets: On the 2D map, right-click the target area → Click "Recon" → Click "Targets" (if not visible). Choose your targets (e.g., transport cranes). 1.2 Assign Steerpoints: Select the first target → Designate as Steerpoint 99 → Hit "Accept." Repeat for additional targets, using Steerpoints 98, 97, etc. 1.3 Save to Data Cartridge: Go to Data Cartridge → Verify target Steerpoints → Click "Save." 2. In-Cockpit Setup: 2.1 Power On JDAMs: Before takeoff, switch to A-G Mode (air-to-ground) on the ICP. On the SMS Page on your MFD, click "Power Off" next to the JDAM to turn it on. Wait for the alignment process (the "INT" will change to an "A" with a countdown). 3. Deploying the JDAM: 3.1 Prepare to Fire: Near the target area, switch Master Arm to "Arm." Switch to A-G Mode and check that the SMS page shows "RDY" (ready) for the JDAMs. 3.2 Select Target Steerpoint: On the DED, select the steerpoint for your target (e.g., Steerpoint 99). 3.3 Align for Release: Keep the azimuth steering line aligned with your flight path marker on the HUD. Watch for the release cue: When the carrot enters the bracket and the solution cue moves down. 3.4 Release the JDAM: Press and hold the Weapon Release button as the solution cue reaches the flight path marker. Cycle to the next Steerpoint for additional targets and repeat. 4. After Release: JDAMs are fire-and-forget, so you can leave the target area immediately after release.
