It was my favorite soap of the 80s. First 4 seasons were fantastic, 5-7 very good, and, well, the last 2 were awful. I’d even go as far as to say that Season 9 was abysmal (I like to pretend it doesn’t exist), redeemed only by Angela’s farewell speech in the series finale. Still, you can’t beat 81-87. Vintage years indeed.

Bought this first Season from Hamilton Booksellers Co. for the steal of $5.95, but they're releasing it at such a snail's pace that I kinda gave up on it- I believe up to this day, you can only get to Season 3. This was appointment Television at 10PM (along with Dallas @ 9PM) on CBS on Friday nights for most of the '80's. Great shows!! Loved when Lana Turner guest starred as Chase's mother later in the 1st Season.

Come on. Falcon Crest was one of the giants. It deserves better than having a computer generated voice read a script based off a couple paragraphs of the wikipedia page.

Love Falcon Crest. This was an amazing show until they killed off Melissa in season 8 and ruined it.
