You know I am finding this now mainly because I am coming form PM and I wanted to learn how to moonwalk without the cheating holding A thing that PM has in it. Ironically this taught me much more than that though moonwalking across stage is something I still need a handle on doing lol. I know for sure this old as all sin but thank you for uploading this and presenting the information in a way that is easily translated and not needing hyper decryption.

Shortjump and use your Z button to instantly put in the input rather than shifting fingers on the controller

Tom Hairston ideally you would want to use c-stick so that you can still drift Falcon and control the uair in the air. However executing this might be harder than using A/Z button.

I'm trying to get the edgeguard of trial 3 consistent, but sometime instead of doing the bair, I do a wall jump off the ledge instead. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Ya I do! You are using your analog stick and the A button instead of the c stick to do ariels. Use the c stick to do ariels, the c stick is faster and gives you more control over your analog stick. By using the analog to do the bair edge guard you are flicking the stick to the opposite side of the stage, this is causing you to wall jump, so just get used to using the c stick everyone else does :)

When you waveland, it says hold left. Is that different from wavedashing? Or is it just terminology?

Wavedashing is done by actually airdodging into the ground to some extent, whereas a perfect waveland is done by airdodging directly left or right.

Need help with the 1st moonwalk :/

It's been a while so you may have figured it out, but for future reference, you want to either dash or walk in one direction before doing the "half-circle" motion. After you start walking or dashing, smash in the opposite direction and then rotate the joystick along the bottom to the side you were initially walking/dashing as FAST AS YOU HUMANLY CAN. Walking/dashing one way gives you more momentum in that direction to work with so you will moonwalk farther than when you simply do the half-circle motion alone. Moonwalking is also applicable to most of the cast, though Falcon and Fox can make the most of it since their dashes are the fastest.
