What he’s saying about the camera is EXACTLY my thoughts on the Skydio 2 I own. Hands down the best obstacle avoidance and best follow me drone, but the footage always just disappoints me.

Thanks for the honest impression, as always. Too bad about the pandemic timing and delays. 2 years ago, as compared to the drones on the market at the time, I believe this drone could have stood toe to toe with DJI in the same price bracket, and would continue to improve with new releases. The efficiency, battery life, handling, and coolness factor is an outstanding platform to improve upon with a better camera and controller build. I hope they continue with a version 2 with newer camera tech.

I give you credit for actually reviewing this after how they tried to censor your video. You said it 100% right tho, and its head scratching how these drone companies dont get it. Nobody is buying this drone unless the camera is amazing. Its not an FPV drone, and the cool factor will quickly fade if the range sucks and the camera is mediocre.

Sidenote: the controller can be used for their other ill-fated drone that too had potential, the Hover 2. Also, Zero-Zero's current HoverX is actually very good for a selfie drone.

I was one who paid the deposit back then. I almost gave up but as you mentioned they did deliver. I too am really amazed at the design and the 2 props. I still have fun flying this using a tablet and the Epson BT300 googles. to me you are spot on, but as poor also mentioned its just something different.

Well I will say the best review of this drone BUT! Why does no one talk about or test the NFZ with this drone? The NFZ is mandated with this drone, you cannot fly in a controlled space even with a LAANC which makes this drone useless to many. The drone has to functions when in a NFZ, it drops out of the sky or lands! I contacted sales and was advised that there is no plans to adjust the software or update any NFZ overrides. That was all I needed to hear from a paper weight and over priced drone which does less that the cheapest Hubsan made. Just my 2 cents
