Once you enter the trade with Take Profit and Stop Losses, let it ride. Accept the outcome Please, ignore the "it's easy" comments. What I find troubling in many of the technical analysis videos is after the fact trades. No way to know if those trades were actually done. That said, it's still good to know patterns and have a basic idea on the vernacular of trading.

I'm learning forex on a £500 account, I'm comfortable risking 2% £10 but with my lot size it's only about 10 pips offside before I'm stopped out. Would I be better off trying to further improve my entries or shall I reduce the lot size?

It is best to stick to one risk management strategy. At Falcon we abide by the 1% risk management :) Consistency comes in being congruent with everything you do.

I always have to pull myself back when I think about the money. I stop seeing things clearly. I start to make mistakes and chase after money I lost thus I start losing more. When I have a attitude of not caring about the money that’s when I am focused and do my best. I’m constantly battling with myself to keep the proper mindset. When I have everything is great. Ok maybe 10$ positions are too big, I'd rather say 2$, you would need to catch 500pips in the entire month, if you open 5$ position, then it's 200pips you need to catch

Hey great point! The figure we have used is just as an example to help you understand our point. Everyone's situation is different and some people return a lot more than others. Aim is to have a holistic view of how much you think you will make on a monthly basis, and then reverse engineer to find out the starting capital you need should you decide to go full time.

You guys in the comment section really give me some laughs. 99% of you are either losing your ass or Sim trading.
