I trade the same stocks on a daily basis, AAPL, NFLX, TSLA, GOOGL, META, NVDA, MSFT, AMZN. For stock news, something like Market Watch or CNBC. News doesn't really play a big role in my decision making process so I dont pay for data feeds.

Money managers just want their commissions... They dont care about your portfolio nearly as much as you would. Some are good, but youll always have your best interest in mind. Hope the journey to self management has been going well and you are able to start that snowball effect!!

Thanks for the feedback Glamor G. I would say these setups can work as swing trades as well! Just set the filter for the weekly charts where it says time frame under the chart tab. I think thats only accessible after the close on a Friday

Could be something to cover in a future video. I think the perception of "short squeeze" has totally been warped by what happened with GME and AMC that if a stock doesnt move 1000% its not a squeeze when thats hardly the case. Most times, the trend can remain down, we just see some added buying pressure if a set of highs get taken out. I rarely play them in the small cap space, usually just look for the core list to set up something similar.

You could via some sort of range settings. Like price is within 5% of the prior 30 days highs and lows... It would require some setting tweaks but certainly doable.

Could you do a trading 101 covering who the players are, market makers, hedge funds, brokers, retail etc and how they each interact with the market - different volumes, different times, different agendas. What happens during maintenance hour. Is it only retail overnight. It’s all vague to me. I’m happy to read a reference you suggest if this is to basic for the Brigade. Swing trading. This scanners is not great for intraday scanning. Usually EoD style setups.

Hi Dmitriy, Im not sure its possible to use Finviz to trade. Its a scanning / market data platform not a brokerage. Most of my trading takes place on Think or Swim (TDA), Tradovate, and WeBull.

Use performance 1 and 2 to look for things that are up on the week and up on the day. From there I would filter for Inverted hammers or Marobozu white.

Hey Donald! No need to be so timid, I dont bite! My value area is based on 70% of the range and 4:00 close to mirror the cash market. I''ve noticed that this helps, instead of keeping the 4:15 close in futures. Possible video in the future!
