I always wonder why we don't see Maelstrom that much in PvZ. Sure, it's an investment, but really not that big relative to many tech switches you could be doing in this game. I know I'm not a pro (far from it!), but from my own games and theory crafting, it seems Maelstrom should be a valuable tool in almost any PvZ. ...so why is it so underused in competitions? Have pros actually talked about that on forums or something? I'd like to know.

i think if you simply compare STorm vs Maelstrom, storm outperforms, same tech tree, less resource, easier to control. Maelstrom is only better vs mutalisk group

Dark archons pay for themselves only against mutas , otherwise is better to have 2 HT , 6 storms total.

@@rayleigh8103 feedback is great against defilers (weren't used in this match for some reason, DA was close to the defilers), and sometimes maelstrom works really well against hydras too.

Over the past month, Falcon has changed preference for his favorite sound in the game three times, each time choosing a different one. Today it's dt warp blade + zergling death sound.

Hey there Falcon! I just came here to thank you for all you effort and emotion that you put in every game you cast it's aways outstanding I can remember the 1st time i had my tanks in siege mode, back in 1999, making a river of blood of lings and hydra corpses....thanks to you

despite the inherent epicness of spawn broodlings on HT's, my favorite moment in this match was that endless stream of Zerg to take down that 6-o clock base of Snow. That really really felt like the power of the swarm!

Oh ! there ! KZbin did it again at 8:05 when you said thumbs up the like button highlighted again, took a screenshot this time. And yeah, sound designs of Starcraft 1 is amazing, actually there's a lot of old games from that era which had this particuliar attention to sounds, like the original Unreal Tournament having better sound effects than the UT2004 25:20 quarante* -cinq, not quatre cinq :p

I mean yeah storm is good, but defiliers are so good, but with a defiler, you basically have unlimited invincibility and plague spells!

Good luck getting your templar that close to a defiler without getting sniped@@sir7586 the comparison is really storm vs swarm, and swarm is basically unlimited with lings. you get 2-3 storms if lucky and thats it.
