What an intense match, constant back and forth, deserves epic tag imo. So satisfying to see Terran going airborne and making drops and wraiths, it’s not often effective but very cool. Leta seems like another great Terran player I haven’t heard of before.

The reason that hydra died to the seige tank shot while under dark swarm is that dark swarm causes the attack to land slightly in front of the unit being targeted. So for point-attacks like marines, that means you do no damage, but for siege tanks, that means you do ~35 damage instead of 70. Also if there was a second hydra standing next to the targeted hydra on the side nearest the siege tank, the siege tank shot would land directly on it dealing the full damage to the unintended target

Thats now how it works, if it worked like that a group of marines would still kill stuff because their attaks would saturate the whole area and land attacks on the units besides their target.

Getting up Wraiths is probably the best strategy I’ve seen to deal with early Mutalisks. You wouldn’t have to deal with cruddy Turrets and you can supply block the Zerg.

Leta was so famous for his wraith style, and even you know that, not every pro can counter it easily. It's just like SuperNova from SC2 using banshees.

This match pretty much explains why 2port wraith isn't a popular build in modern TvZ. It lets Zerg counters with Hydra first, which is naturally followed up by Hydraling + Defiler which is a very well-practiced ZvT build.

Yeah hydra-ling-defiler is a much more popular thing and is so powerful against terran whether they go mech and/or bio. Two-port wraith kind of forces zerg into that play which can be problamatic for the terran.

the ending to this game was really weird. Leta couldnt take down those bottom-left bases, that drop in his main hurt his infrastructure REAL bad, and he just kind of gave up on his 4th despite kinda-sorta defending it but i guess he just didnt feel like he could keep defending it if another attack hit there? he might not have realized he was actually even on supply for a while either, and did a desperation move that cost him most of his army that he just couldnt replace. again, i dont think he realized the game was actually as even as it was. sure, those bottom-left bases were about to kick the Zerg into overdrive, but still, Leta had some time and just took a 4th of his own.

I do hate to see zergs not make any spores against 2 port wraith. So respects to Killer for sacrificing couple drones to save whole lot more. LeTa was always known of his 2 port wraith builds and amazing wraith micro. But if you ask me I'd say he always had silly good micro over all. One of the best micro skills of any progamer in my mind. Always enjoyed to watch LeTa play.

4:10 "And" doesn't replace "But" because they have different meanings. "I wanted food BUT the store was closed" doesn't sound proper with "And" instead.

Great zvt crazy how strong a Terran really is on just 1 or 2 bases.. zerg was on like 6 bases and still struggling to close that out. (Though not killing science vessles made it way worse)

Lmao look at the worker count and supply instead, thats what counts. They where close the entire game. The zerg production is their main building and they need more then 1 hatch to keep up with income so ofc they are going to try to build those hatches where there are resources. That doesnt mean they are ahead. They just have a more mobile army so they can spread out on the map more.

Yes, the removal of the word "but" from a person's vocab will result in their dialogue coming across with more positivity. I read about this when I was studying social science! Try replacing it with the word "and", and for situations where that doesn't sound right, use "yet".

Terran could have won, if he had prepared drop after 5/6 wraiths and stim up to this point (or up to the moment of dropping m&m on zerg's main). Because obviously zerg put lots of his money into upgrading hydras, making spores and had no sunks on main. So, m&m with wraiths as support would have made zerg leave. And there were no muta at all, so no need to worry at all.

In almost every cast you always say something funny and in this cast it was "he's actually unburrowing the tanks." Also Leta's name might be pronounced 'lay-ta' rather than 'lee-ta.' But that is just how i would pronounce it. Amazing cast as always.

It's a just a leta thing which makes it fun. He enjoys and prefers 2 port wraith since alot of players are more used to dealing with more typical strategies

Good game but (spoiler) Another long TvZ that ends with the Terran helpless before dark swarm/Ultralisk in the late game. I’ve seen terrans beat that combo but only with CRAZY micro (Flash). Game is unbalanced v terran
