Fps is just one aspect. The most important are white balance, appurture setting, and ISO settings. One of the mistakes people do is, they keep white balance as auto. You should always keep it manual and start with 6500K setting and then increase or decrease this based on the warmth/coldness required. Apart from this, for bright light especially in snow or hight contrast shooting like shades in jungle, you can use the ND filters. All these things will drastically change you image/video quality.

True. June 2018 mein main Ladakh gaya tha. Us time Baralachala se Sarchu raat ko ride kiya tha. Bahut adventurous ride tha. Lekin maine apne GoPro mein frame rate 60 set kar rakha tha. Andhere ka sab video bahut bekaar aaya. Trip ke baad mujhe pata chala ki low light mein frame rate minimum rakhna hota hai 🙁😟

I don't know about sony but most action camera like gopro, yi 4k, sjcam, they don't produce high file size with high fps. This is because the bit rate is devided into each extra frames so each frames receives less bit rate hence reduction in quality. If video is shot on 60 and uploaded at 30 then its better to shoot at 30 for maximum quality. Also 24/30 fps looks more natural to me. As per industry standard 30 is for high speed motion action. 60 and above is only for slow motion. I did tons of test and study on this subject for over a week. Compared different resolution, fps, shutter and all. Problem with action camera is that they don't produce true 60 or 120 because the 180 degree shutter rule is not followed because of shutter kept on auto. If followed however picture would be over exposed because it doesn't have apurture, thats why some people use ND16 filter. When shutter kept on auto it generally went too high to cut the amount of light. So anyway the actual motion blur is never present. Every frame even in 24 looks super clear because of this. I also did side by side comparison of 1080, 2.7k, 4k with 800-1000% zoom. The 1080 is a lot blury, 2.7 is still better way to go.

While in Uttarakhand Char Dham yatra and Chandigarh Manali,Bhitar and Rohtash I used sony handy cam as well as Panasonic fz28 both produced satisfactory results but where the terrain was rough Despite being hand held cameras were unable to cancel major shakes.However, minor shocks were handled considerably.
