Ok hear me out I have an idea. Put Kirk cousins in for the game. I know one game is crucial for the development of micheal penix but, Kirk has had 2 weeks to clear is head and recouperate. I feel that we should put Kirk in to see if maybe his last 5 games were just a dry spell. If he can play like he did in October again then maybe we don’t have to cut him and lose 45 million dollars. If he does poorly then yes we should cut him but atleast give him a chance after he’s gotten a break, this is a 45 million dollar cap hit and before we lose a fifth of our cap space we should see if there’s a chance of salvage now that our season is basically over. We stabbed Kirk in the back by drafting a qb first round without even telling him, the least we can do is give him one last chance, we owe him that at least.

If I'm going to be honest... Z. Robinson doesn't make plays for tight ends, he's not on the field and still the other tight ends aren't used. Arthur Smith knew how to draw Pitts open more than Robinson. I think Pitts is done with atlanta from the sure fact that it's 4 straight years of bs. Penix probably would've helped open him up more but it's too late now. He's gonna shine somewhere else

For those who didn’t think he was involved in the offense, look at the target vs rec ratio. That’s crazy he was getting high volume but wasn’t receiving the ball at an all time high. Bro is trash. The Saints could beat Tampa Bay because they tend to play better when least expected. I can see paying for Drew D because a lot goes through the center especially with Penix being new. Consistency will be key with his development and Falcons run game. I can see Pitts gone for picks with Alford. I think getting picks over the next two drafts and either another cornerback or safety. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Falcons go after T Hunter as full time corner and 2,3 or 4 WR depending on coverage to take pressure off the others

There are usually roughly 60-65 offensive snaps per game. Robinson is gonna get about 1/3 of that, then you have London, and Mooney. Also, Charlie Woerner take a lot of pitts PT because he’s a more superior run blocker. This is the primary reasons for pitts decline in production. I think his production could improve with penix at quarterback. I hope they bring pitts back for his final year then let him walk and get a compensatory draft pick. Gotta resign dalman to keep continuity on that oline. Maybe cut Grady. His production doesn’t equal what he’s being paid.

Honestly speaking penix actually targets pitts. In the commanders game he played decent. He was targeted like 5 times I believe and only dropped one pass but that was more of a pass breakup. Then that td pass that took trust on both sides. In both games with penix he was used as a redzone threat. Personally I see pitts becoming a legit threat with penix under center. Next year when penix gets a full offseason to be build chemistry with everyone those two will be a problem together
