Also, watch Max Brosmer, QB @ Minnesota. He could be fantasy irrelevant and like a Josh McKown but could be a Purdy like flyer in the later 4th or 5th of Dynasty drafts. Extremely high IQ. Pre/post snap reads and checks are some of the best in college. Production maniac in the FCS. Comes to the Big Ten, doesnt miss a beat (though took a second to ramp up) and you see a Minnesota team thats hasnt been in the top 100 for pass att over the last 7 years jump to 50th. OC said they had 60 different checks installed that he could make for the Penn State game. Top 5 pass pff grade in FBS and top 8 QB grade Starting to creep into some NFL draft analysts top 10 for QBs. Shrine bowl qb. I thi k you'll like him even if not directly for fantasy.

When I look at Luther Burdens ppf number for his career I see a guy who is a WR3 at best, based on those numbers. It seems like he is being viewed as an elite prospect but I cant figure out why; just because of his YAC ability, which again according to ppf, was 144th this year. QB play does not effect that number.
@DynastyLandFootball11 күн бұрын
Respectfully, if you’re gauging the value or ceiling of a prospect based on PFF Grades, then we aren’t going to see eye to eye on most players 😅
@markkelly906311 күн бұрын
@@DynastyLandFootball No offense taken. I'm just trying to learn and get better. In the past top tier elite receivers usually had some metrics that supported that. I am truly curious on why you dont feel like PPF grades are misleading (?). What am I missing or not looking at? I know the offense was bad, but what do I need to be looking at?
@DynastyLandFootball11 күн бұрын
Evaluating a prospect (at least for myself) is a detailed process that includes: - learning about the player as a person, his background, his family, his recruiting process, his accolades in HS - gather context to his season (offense, qb play, scheme tendencies, players who left from 1 year to another, etc) - Looking at advanced metrics/analytics. Multiple different analytics, not just 1 like PFF Grade for ex. - study all-22 film, not every analytic can show a players abilities as some are out of their hands. Find film junkies that you trust and learn what they look for when watching each position. For example: if you’re strictly a spreadsheet/numbers guy - you probably were out on Ladd McConkey last year however the film showed a special separator and player. - athletic testing, decide how important it is to your grades - draft capital, look historical what it’s meant to each position There’s many steps to the process but this is a quick guide for getting started :)

Valid, Im mainly just an Illini fan that’s a lil upset that he’s getting overlooked. I just feel like Bryant is much more dynamic and projects out in the NFL better than Felton does. Considering he caught almost twice the amount of passes as Bryant, you’d think he’d have better production.
@Judoyo13Ай бұрын
I love y'all's content man, and you can like Burden and Hunter over Tet but I'm really not vibing with 6:26. This just seems like cope that Luther Burden was literal ass statistically and we just don't see players who perform that poorly typically succeed. He's probably not getting super impressive draft capital. Probably going where Addison and QJ went AT BEST. Also 8:05 I think this is really silly. Lol he prospects out to definitely be better than MW and Coleman. (Yes I'm aware that Mike Williams was taken 7th, but that was considered an overdraft by many.) Saying it's realistic he turns out like those two is really not a good take. Tet is likely getting top 10 capital, which is where London, GW, Nabers, Odunze went. Give this man some flowers and not excuse his actual ability to produce as just "hurr durr his high school QB throws to him that's why he has such good stats, definitely not his dominance as a player on his own"
@DynastyLandFootballАй бұрын
With as much respect as possible, it’s clear based on this comment that you aren’t listening with an open mind. You had your mind made up before you watched the video. It would be ignorance to not admit that Tet had the upper hand playing with his best friend for the past 7-8 years. And I literally compared Tet to Drake London & Mike Evans before I gave you my floor comps of Mike Williams & Keon Coleman. You are choosing to listen to what you want to hear and not listening to the entire context. Unfortunately this is a common trend in the dynasty community.
@Judoyo13Ай бұрын
@DynastyLandFootball lol bro you literally said "realistic comp" is Mike Williams and keon Coleman and it would be absolute ignorance to not put Burden lower in expectations from an abysmal 2024 statistical season regardless of the factors. If he wasn't so good in other areas I'd consider him like below the top 10 receivers with that kind of production but he gets a pass cuz we know he has skills so he's realistically 2-5 in rankings by most folks capable of acknowledging how the stats effect rank.
@DynastyLandFootballАй бұрын
Yes, I did. Yet you for some reason refuse to acknowledge that seconds before that I compared him to Mike Evans & Drake London? 😂 And I’ve heard this whole production argument plenty of times. Same reason everyone told me I had Ladd McConkey way too high in the 2024 class. Production is important but it will never be my determining factor. Again, you aren’t listening to the content with an open mind, you have your mind made up. That’s cool if that’s how you want to consume content but wouldn’t you rather watch content to hear opinions other than your own? That part never makes sense to me 💀
@Judoyo13Ай бұрын
@@DynastyLandFootball I love hearing other opinions. I just think you going off on a rant about how dumb people are for not acknowledging the high school QB crap wasn't great. And then your wording made me laugh when you said the realistic comp is MW and Keon Coleman. This guy about to be a top 10 pick. Excusing Ladd McConkey's production by recognizing his dominant route running made sense when he was in that WR3-5 range of comparison but nobody put him as WR1 or 2 cuz that would be just silly. I have a 40% exposure to Ladd in my 12 leagues so I understand production isn't everything. I just think the arguments of him being WR1 discounts the historical value of statistics etc. Don't need to shame me or assume I'm not "listening" to your content. I just think it's irresponsible to rank burden at WR1 personally.
@DynastyLandFootballАй бұрын
