Being there for the premiere was amazing, but I have to say that the melody, the voice, and the work that was put into this song made me love it instantly. No kidding, it was 2:00 a.m. in Australia when it premiered and after listening the song, I did it again... 8 more times before I went to sleep.

@@maxgehtdnixan4913 gameplay isnt the point, the representation of her character is. captain fortune is supposed to be who she is currently within lore yet its been nearly 10 years since that released and her default skin is still an outdated version of herself. that's the point being made here, she's rarely represented as captain fortune and riot picks and chooses when they want to represent her that way

It's nice, but MF would hate this song. She's explicitly NOT a pirate, at least very different from the archetypal pirate embodied by Gangplank. Her entire life's work has been to overthrow Gangplank and build something meaningful out of Bilgewater. This song glorifies everything she vocally hates.
