Great patch! I was exploring the dual cascaded gates in a Fumana feedback patch you had me working on.

Awesome, curious to hear the outcome!

I love these short Frap talk/workouts videos. However, maybe you could sometimes do them with one Falistri, which is what most of us own (or have) in our racks - I suspect 😉.

2 falistri to make these sounds? yeah not impressed.

this wasn't exactly about the sounds, but about ways you can use the whole set of gate outs\gate processing. i think there are a lot of other videos showcasing the multitude of great sounds achievable with frap tools modules. even falistri, which is basically a function generator like maths, can make for a really great oscillator\sound source! not really the purpose of this vid tho...

@@delfiobacco7156 I understand your point, however, here are my 2c. 1)Sound is very important when it comes to musical instruments. It's illogical for that to not be a primary consideration. 2)A demo has to be relatable, I doubt many people at all have 2 falistra, so will be difficult to comprehend. 3)You are demoing nearly 900USD worth of gear in this video, and must take into account people looking to purchase. This is as much a sales video as instructional, and as it is from the manufacturer, holds great weight. You spent time on a nice shirt and watch, neatly presented the cables, but the most important bit, the sound, was not prioritised over showing the engineering functions. People do not buy based on what something does, people buy based on things like status and emotion, this module is gonna turn me into Richard Devine etc. If this is the best that the maker of the module can make it sound with 2 of them, not a chance in heck I am gonna make anything better than fart sounds.

@@daemonicflame i think the great guys at frap tools see it a bit differently, that's why they are curating their own communication about their modules, with a lof of instructional videos about synthesis in general, with a discord channel to be directly in touch with their customers and friends... but i see what you are saying.

@@daemonicflame simply not true. at the very least, half of modular gear is in utility. verbos random sampling, tip top source of uncertainty, wogglebug, contour1, step8, cnoc, ochd, etc. let’s not forget that nobody buys Maths-the top selling module ever- for its sound. also, the point of the video was patch-programmability: a module is used in ways beyond the obvious.
