I think valstrax has one of the most epic themes out of all monsters, it already had a great build up, and then you're hit with this banger of a tune which fosters that sence of anticipation into one of the most epic fights in monster hunter. Imagine if the fight was like khezu, no music and all. The fight would be so underwhelming. FalkkonE just took all that greatness, and multiplied it. How.

Here’s hoping that if Valstrax comes back, they give the Wyvern Ignition a sub tree specifically using Valstrax parts, and maybe make it hidden dragon element with average elderseal? Rarity 12, 1550 Raw, single Lv4 Jewel slot, tiny amount of purple sharpness (Handicraft Lv 2 at the most), -25% affinity to offset it? Might be nice? There isn’t anything good enough to dethrone the Acidic Glavenus GS, and as much as I love Immovable Dharma, they need cooler looking weapons. The Glavenus weapons for GS users look like shit.

Mr Person Face For me, it’s not even an issue. When MH4 was revealed I got used to Goa Magara, Zaboazagiru, and Tetsukabara but once MH4U finally came to the West, I got used to Gore Magala, Zamtrios, and Tetsucabra rather easily. Personally, I think Valstrax sounds awesome.

New valstrax attack idea: he digs his wing into the ground and throws a rock into the air. He uses his other wing like a shield and shatter the rock into pieces like a spread ammo inflicting bleed and/or stun. When he enrages the rock will get a bit larger and therefore the angle will increase and will inflict stun and/or bleed and/or dragon. When rocket boi is tired this attack will only stun Tired angle- 45° Normal angle- 60° Enraged angle- 90°

I don't know what it is, but the Switch hurts my hands playing it in handheld (my preferred playstyle for games with the option) and I don't have a grip cover for it yet, so playing a time sink game like Monster Hunter would be unpleasant for me (the worst feeling to have with one of your favorite series). Plus, I imported Gen Ultimate on 3DS before it came to the west on Switch, so all of my progress is there and I can't transfer it up even if/when I get it on Switch.

It sadly doesn't make everything english, but it translates all the important details, so I've been just as good off as I'd be in the Switch version. Honestly, valstrax is one of the few monster hunter creatures that i think could actually take on modern NATO aircraft.

The problem in particular is that valstrax can take multiple missile hits, but is much, much better at taking Gs than any pilot or even plane, thus could avoid them entirely once it realizes they hurt. Once the pilots learn that this thing an actually shooting them down WVR and survive multiple missile strikes, they'll focus on aim-7s and aim-120s for BVR engagements at which point they'll have an advantage, since the pilots will see well further with their radars than valstrax would see with his naked eyes. Of course he could still dodge, but if they fire enough he'll easily be overwhelmed. It would take a good number of aircraft to pull this off, but it would eventually be done, especially with SAM support as distraction since it won't know which missiles to focus on. Meanwhile, any assets that aren't flying are in alot of trouble.

@@ruiribeiro8010 basically it's like that because the game wants you to kill the flagship sooner. Both val and shagaru are high tier elders like ruiner but because they are flagship they are sent out much sooner than low/mid tier elders
