Ahhh! Yes my favorite song from RWBY, the first opening. This song was how I discovered RWBY, a song that the extended version found its way into my recommended and became a constant listen. The video I watched had footage from the volume 1 trailers and opening credits and yet I thought it was something spliced to together for a music video before I found out that it was an actual series. This was back in the off season between Volume 3 and 4, closing in on the release of volume 4’s trailer and promos like the World of Remnant shorts narrated by Qrow. This song will always be near and dear to me, even though I have drifted from the series with how much it has strayed from its potential and what I view as bad decisions by the writers. Falkone and Rena…thank you for covering this track. This really takes me back and it’s great to see a power duo like the two of you give this song that sparked my love for RWBY a kick ass cover.

I really like this version! Overall, the vocals and string section around 1:30 to 2:00 sound quite drowned out though, and I'm listening on a headset known for being quite vocally present Might be as simple as turning the mono layers up a bit, for the string section though I'd definitely recommend some subtle saturation and/or mid side eq

This video popped up when i searched This Will Be The Day (again) and i listened to a few others afterwards, Rena you have a talent for replicating the style of other vocalists with your own twist, and to The Band you do the same but musically: i know it's different but the feeling is the same. (I like the additional keyboard/piano and slightly higher tempo maybe idk jack about music) I consider that an achievement. I will listen to this more than the 4 times i already have while playing games.
