Port Stanley or RAF Mount pleasant are the only correct names for the Falkland’s airport.

Two different airports. Stanley is just a small runway outside of the town. MPN is a lot larger.

The original name was FISA - Falkland Islands Strategic Airport - which was changed to Mount Pleasant Airport so as not to upset South America.

the Falkland Islands are not British. they are Certainly not Argentinian..they are occupied and owned by the Falkland Islanders. it just so happened that two lots of holiday makers arrived in1982 and as young lads do they started fighting. they all went home eventually and the falkland Islanders carried on as before.
