I am in central Maine. Clear water with lots of Milfoil and Hydrilla like grass. Fishing 4 to 8 feet of water. Chatterbait has been my go to lure pretty much all year. In the spring I was slow rolling it with a Bandido Bug for a trailer. This fall I started making a long cast and let the lure settle to the bottom along the grass edge. Then short ripping it off the bottom, take up slack and rip again. Repeat to the boat. Had pretty good success with that method. I know what you are saying about the dying grass. Had to clear my lure often.

Some Series Tile options: "It's a LOCK" "When in Doubt" (Whip this out) "Lock it Down" "THE ONE" (Today's lock out doubt lure) "Lure-Lock" "Tied & Tried" BTW, I noticed that most of you catches came when you "popped" the Chatter-bait. This is my #1 way to retrieve it. Makes it hunt better. Great videos, TB!

Those mini max chatterbaits are over looked by a ton of people but not me I use them a ton also those tungsten elite Evo chatterbaits are awesome, they stay down very well

In the Midwest, definitely lack of water. Trying to use the chatter bait more than just in practice

I’m between Erie and Ontario in Ontario. The lack of ice and snow last year really hurt the water levels throughout the Great Lakes. We need ice and a lot of snow this year.

I only brought a chatterbait this morning and I ended the trip frustrated as hell. I know people catch a ton of fish with chatterbaits but for the life of me I cannot get bit on it.

Fished dozens of lakes and tried all the standard colors, NEVER caught a damn thing with a chatterbait. I have quite a few hours with a chatterbait rigged up. Yet I'm extremely confident with a regular flipping jig because the chatter doesn't get bites. I've studied all of your retrieves and trailers. Why? Nobody else around here uses chatterbaits either. So I figure they would get more bites than regular jigs.

Why not call it the “just fishing’ “ series? Also do you feel like some lakes just aren’t good chatterbait lakes? My home lake I have tried and tried them and just don’t catch them. Other lakes I hammer them.
