The accompanying piano piece may not be perfect as it was played and recorded by my boy himself.
You may find in this clip that the objects are in a continuous change or switch every 1 or 2 seconds, which is unusual in video shooting. That's because it's not an edited video, it's automatically generated by the Canon PowerShot SX40 HS camera, which can simultaneously make a video digest of the chronological images meanwhile keep a set of the same still images.
Therefore, as long as you turn on Video Digest in the camera setting, when you press the shutter ONE time to shoot ONE object, you will automatically have TWO results: one for the still image, another one for the digest video of the same still image, which means it will include the moment (1 or 2 seconds) of your getting the lens and the object ready for shooting.
Maybe only Canon PowerShot SX serial cameras could feature this type of dual-result effect. You may try the newer model of this type of camera such as Canon PowerShot SX70 HS to see if the Video Digest feature is still maintained or changed or completely missing. This clip is just to show you how the video digest of the still images looks like.
